I will confess I enjoy the Mountain Style pizza you can get in Denver. Still, the other cities are leagues better. NOLA is the closest thing you can get to as a European city without leaving USA.
Sorry, I'm late to the "quote the John Denver sad song" party, but I used to adore John Denver. Went to his concerts, have all him albums. Yes, albums.
When I googled tavern pizza yesterday, it specifically said it was cut into small squares so they don't have to worry about offering plates and silverware. At least at first.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
'It's most common feature is that 80% of the slices have nothing to hold onto other than melting cheese and hot pizza sauce.'
If you can’t hold a small square that sounds more like a you problem.
My point is that it is already designed to be cut into wedges so you've got a handle. Square slices on a round pizza is basically a way for Big Pizza to tell you a pizza has twenty slices when it really doesn't. Square slices of round pizza is kinda lame.
Edit to say that who wants a small square when you can have a giant slice?

I just thought everyone should know.
My roommate was bummed one day and home alone so he put on my John Denver cd thinking 'he sings with the Muppets, this will cheer me up!' I got home to find him drunk and crying on the roof.
Greek-style is also square. I agree triangle is 10000% the way to go, but growing up with Greek-style as the pizza place closest to my house definitely has given me a level of affinity for it. I have traditionally avoided the middle pieces that have no crust both because of the mess factor and because I loooove crust. (People who leave the crust behind should be thrown in jail.) Although in recent years, I have started to like the center squares because I generally don't usually like the Greek crust that much.

Really want to mount a massive defense for LA but that'll probably rally more votes in spite. At this point I imagine most people know in their mind which order they'll vote in.

Chicago and New Orleans doing better than LA is insane but I guess that’s just the East coast bias at work.
New Orleans is an affront to god by being built below the ocean and Chicago is so cold. Denver in definitely the prettiest and cleanest city left. Arguably the best weather too.

I have no idea. I just know I'm not voting for the square pizza place. That's messed up.
Detroit is the king of square styled pizza but was not on the original list. When the crust is done right, it's similar to a french bread type pizza where it is thick and crunchy. Corner pieces can be some of the best because you have the two sides that were up against the baking pan and can get all charred, crackly, crunch and shit. I've only had it in Texas, but since I will be in Detroit in about a month, I'll be looking to get me some of that.
Really want the final two to be NYC and LA. Honestly New Orleans and Chicago are both rad too, but the debate has always been are you a NYC person or LA person. East coast/ west coast. Biggie / Tupac. It's a debate as old as time, but inforoo just really hates driving for some reason.

Are you really living if you can’t walk to Red Rocks in five minutes?
It genuinely is annoying that New Orleans is getting a pass on its state's horrendous quality of life.
Genuinely annoying with a [tm]?
The state's quality of life is not on the agenda. We enjoy a good quality of life here in the city. Yeah, there's tons of problems that may or may not ever be fixed, but I'm guessing you're still mad that Houston got knocked off early making sure to get in a dig on New Orleans in nearly every new poll since. We are what the 80th most populous city in America and maybe the 50th largest metro yet here we are hanging with the big three and Denver which I would not personally have anything bad to say about.
