This was possible in 2016, the only time they cleared the Pit at Which Stage Friday was before Tame. I walked in and out of the pit for every show at that stage that day.
In 2020/2021 we were planning on doing Groop, we had one of the largest camps with 140-150ish people. After the fallout from the failed events we have a total of 10-15 people im rolling in with now.

There's only 3 groops woth 100+ ppl this year. And Camp Reddaroo is #1 which I believe they were last time as well.

They were, we had the largest crew for a couple days then they jumped a bit ahead. I was sooo excited for it and we spent so much time coordinating it a lot of people just felt burnt when it all fell through and didn’t look to return.

I get this. Had some newbies lined up for 2020 that were wanting to go for the experience more than anyone particular playing, and after two years of planning and missing out they kinda got bored of the idea I think
live nation should be the corpos they are and totally flood the secondary market with “resells” of like $150 tickets next week to get like 5k more. You’d think they’d make that up in pizza and beer. And drop the resell market minimum for real resellers.
Apparently the number of tickets sold may be at the very low end of what we're all guessing here. 😬
Imagine running a festival that is selling that badly and doing nothing about it. No artist additions. Minimal promotion. Hell, it doesn't even look like they put any time into the schedule to make things look better.
I saw my first Bonnaroo ad on instagram today! I guess they're trying to get people to come after all. Small issue: I've had my ticket since Black Friday.

I'm guessing we don't have to imagine.
To be fair they already shit the bed with J.Cole and going with a pop punk card, which isn't what people obviously wanted after two years off. If they know they are ass out of luck selling out the festival spending money for another artist that they have no idea how to cram in is, financially, not going to pay off. They lost the entire curve on promotion, no one is going to buy last mine tix.
The goddamn schedule is just unforgivable.

They have twenty years' historical data to know early on that they were seeking poorly. Hell, we suspected back during presale that things were soft. There was a time to make changes that could've improved the festival.
I agree that doing it in May is just throwing money away if your motivation is only to improve 2022 ticket sales.

trantsgiving posted in the lineup thread but someone who allegedly works at C3 told him on the phone that its closer to 50,000 - 55,000. Said it isn't selling great but still better than 16.

I don't have the patience to go back and find me saying 50k. but that sounds reasonable in our current climate.

if there's anybody you can trust, it's tranter.
I hung out with Tranter in real life hours after this conversation. If there’s any lying going on its from the guy to Tranter, not from Tranter himself.

I saw Jortles IRL through a pair of binoculars mere moments after he hung out with tranter and he's DEFINITELY lying
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

I have a local friend who works part time for Roo that has offered to let us use the marshalling yard. We'd in theory go through security there then come in backstage next to the KOA so we could beat the traffic and do our Tuesday events.
I honestly don't even know if we even need to do that at this point, I'm going to talk with them on the phone in the coming days to figure it out. It doesn't seem that many people are coming in Tuesday, so we'd probably roll in that afternoon with minimal hassle.
