I don't think there's this clearly defined line between Mad Cool and Primavera artists. Sure some of Mad Cool's headliners like Imagine Dragons, TOP, Kings of Leon, etc would never be found at Primavera, but there's also a huge segment of artists that could easily play either depending on their schedule/the offers.
Mad Cool books lineups to sell tickets. There’s certainly a bit of overlap but there’s very clearly different focuses overall
Definitely different overall focuses, but some artists from Mad Cool this year could've played Primavera. Pixies, Jack White, Chvrches, CRJ, Yves Tumor, St. Vincent, Sigrid, Modest Mouse, The Comet Is Coming, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Bartees Strange, & Arlo Parks fit the Primavera vibe. I think Maggie Rogers fits in with that group of could play either festivals.

Started doing my initial list of places I wanna take Mrs. GL to in Madrid. I remembered a cable car I took the last time and honest to God, I may be more excited for that than Depeche Mode.
