I guess they actually changed the name to like Brunch in the City now but it appears that BCN is sold out. It’s dj’s playing.
Oddly enough, VIP is sold out for BCN, too.
Glad to hear that VIP is sold out. Hopefully they open up the waitlist on Dice soon so I can list my ticket
I was thinking about you guys on that. The combo weekend is sold out as well. Madrid is still open across the board. Thinking that weekend isn’t selling very well.
i do wish i was able to afford this after seeing just how much didnt make it to Coachella but overall Coachella easily beats this lineup for me. Jealous esp of NxWorries, Darkside, BCNR, Moldy Peaches and FKA twigs

I'm toying around with making it a shorter trip and just doing Barcelona during the fest and preshows, but flight prices would really have to drop for me to end up doing both
So while in bed last night, Mrs. GL informed me that she booked first class for herself on the way out to Madrid while I’m flying economy the entire trip.
The sad thing was I half assed expected it when I caught her googling seat types the night before.

I 100% didn't even know there were beds up there! It definitely shows that I grew up without a lot and this is my first international flight, but I thought it was too funny not to share. My wife had to explain to me what all those rectangles were.

I’ve never looked at first class and thought it was worth it but I can see where having a bed would be nice for those long haul flights. I know I’m about to get fucked when she opens a conversation with “So I did a thing”.
*Coachella easily wins with headliners. The fact the subs would be headliners at any given festival shows how strong the top of the lineup is.
*I would pick Coachella over PS as far electronic goes. It's not even close. With that being said, PS isn't bad in that department.
*PS over Coachella as far hip-hop goes. The diversity of the type of hip-hop acts that are playing Primavera is really top notch this year.
*As far critical acclaimed artists/albums go , I have to go with Primavera on this. From top to bottom, there are a lot of acts booked that put out great stuff, which shows how important that is to the fest and the audience that they are targeting.
*Coachella beats out PS with their rare bookings. Blackpink, Frank Ocean, boygenius, Jai Paul and Dinner Party To name a few the festival stand out. Primavera isn't that far behind by booking Darkside, Le Tigre, Nxworries, Moldy Peaches, Red Velvet, Unwound, and Karate.
Overall, Coachella is a bit more flashy as far its bookings go, but Primavera this year is really solid top to bottom. Maybe (ps)top 5 lineups this year and definitely top 10 after everything is said and done.

Past the headliners and a smattering of undercard like Underworld, Björk, and wtf Jai Paul, I’m cool. It’s an incredible lineup and if you had a shot to go, you’d be silly not to.
That said, I’ve promised myself to to hit every Unwound show I can (minus the Numero Festival) and I’m living by those words.
So I'm toying around with the idea still doing this and Coachella. If I fly to Barcelona the day after Memorial Day and fly home the Monday after the fest flights are cheaper. I would also save some money by having 4 fewer nights at a hotel since my original plan was to arrive on the 27th . I'd have less time to do tourist stuff, but I did a lot of that last year anyway.
Coming from NA as first timer for this fest. Have done Coachella snd Osheaga. Anything different to note about this other than going to sunrise? Any tips appreciated.

Do yall think it's possible Coachella made an effort to bill Calvin Harris and Rosalía as subs/bottom of poster so that Prima didn't share headliners with them lol?

No water bottles with caps. Other than that, pretty much the same.

Like anything when coming to Spain, pack a lot of patience. Everything runs slower (except the stage times).
If you haven’t booked a hotel, I’d suggest staying closer to Plaça de Catalunya for a late night shuttle bus or near a Tram stop which will run 24 hours that weekend. The hotels within walking distance are expensive and there’s not much to see or do in that area.
Don’t forget about the Ciutat shows, either. It might give you a chance to bust up some conflicts or see someone that’s not playing the festival proper.
Past that, it’s pretty much a normal festival. The hours are just waaaaaaay different.

Personally, I think she’s about in the right slot at Coachella. Prima is kinda a homecoming show and would feel wrong to put her anywhere else. One more album and she’s a headliner at any festival.

Yeah fs. I just wonder if it could have gone whatever way between her, him and BP. But they also kinda need Calvin on the bench for if Frank cancels.

Lots of caffeine at night if you are trying to make it till 6:00 am.
I’d never down anyone for making her a HL now but I can see where she isn’t.
I’m not a Calvin fan and honestly keep forgetting he’s at PS.
I saw him at Free Press Summerfest (DFN promoters) in Houston once and it was pretty good, better than I expected. There's definitely gonna be something better going on because it's Prima but it wouldn't be the worst thing to get stuck at either.

Oh and while I’m sure I’m the only one here doing Madrid, high speed rail passes opened up on both Renfe and OUIGO at some point. Getting that booked and then my transportation is complete and I can just save from here on out.
Is anyone staying for the night shows on Sunday? I’m still debating staying that day and catching a train at the butt ass crack of morning.
