went to Coachella last year. I’m on east coast of NA so it’s similar travel. Have never done a European festival. Always read great things about PS.

I am also on the east coast (NY) , so I get not wanting to go back to California so soon. I went to PS for the first time last year. It was a shit show ,since they booked some big acts, one of the first festivals in Europe since Covid started and made the festival two weekends in Barcelona. I would say things should go back to normal.
Usually try and rent apartments on trips but with just two of us coming and F1 weekend as well, hotel seems like best option. You guys have similar experience or am I looking in the wrong places?

I do hotel when traveling internationally. I also have an irrational fear of Airbnb.
If you haven’t booked a place, I’d get on that. Places are starting to fill up quick with it being a huge week there.
Remember that the trams will be 24 hours and there’s a shuttle bus that runs from Plaça de Catalunya to the Parc. I’d compare maps with the tram lines to get somewhere close to transportation.
If you’re a late night party owl then the metro and buses will be up and running when you leave though.
If anyone is looking to buy a Barcelona VIP ticket let me know. Dice still hasn't opened the waitlist, but their support agent said they can do a transfer as long as the person has a dice account.

Also selling a tic for presale face value obo since the waitlist feature hasn’t come back yet. The fomo has been hitting me super hard, but I just can’t swing it this year.
In the end for me it's mostly flight prices. They are still insanely high and with doing Coachella I just cant really justify it. Hoping Blur play anywhere in North America later this year and I'll travel for that.

Wish Sonar was like the week after and not like two, three weeks.. This line-up is great for my tastes but the travel back and forth is just to much and to make it a long trip it's to much..

If I had a choice for the weekend after, I’d be all over Melt or BKS, for sure.

Oh, and then there’s the elephant of Caroline Polachek who is gonna have a record of the year. I just saw her but I have a feeling she is gonna be another can’t miss for me.
