Daaaaaaamn, I’m into this. Mostly because I won’t see Slowdive this year but also for Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, Grace Ives, and Arab Strap. Gorilla Toss is always fun, too.
Thoughts on The 1975? New album dropping and N. American tour dates for fall. Easily sets up an Australia tour with a European dates / Euro festival spring/summer tour.
The 1975 doing Boston calling then Primavera/europe tour makes a ton of sense. They were originally doing BC in 2020. They are much bigger in europe though so idk if Prima will want to splurge.
Not committed ATM but royksopp, darkside and some smaller rare electronica names like black mass, Ben frost, ilian tape people, Kelly Moran would be huge
If you picked only 2 out of those 3 lines, would it really be all that outlandish a hope compared to 2022's lineup? Dua Lipa, Gorillaz, Interpol, Tyler, Lorde, Massive Attack, The Strokes, Jorja Smith, Megan, Tame, & YYYs is a gigantic top line.

2022 was over 2 weekends and they desperately needed to sell out to recoup their losses over the last two years.

Next year is two weekends and they'll be sharing most artists so they'll be getting Coachella/ACL-style double paydays. Their booking power should be pretty strong, I'd think, and they'll probably sell out again.
honestly even if it were something like that list i dont think i would go. this year was really a once in a lifetime kind of lineup for me and unless they had like a Daft Punk - Frank Ocean - The Cure top line i don’t see anything else persuading me w how busy things will be once i start grad school

If it's anything like Coachella/ACL, the line ups will be 90% the same though. Seems unlikely they will get exclusive headliners for each city since even Coachella can't do that. This year, they had to entice people to stay for the whole thing so there was a lot of varied headliners.

I'm literally saying they are going to have mostly the same lineups and headliners.
If I had to guess the top six for next year it would be in no order Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Lizzo, NIN Inch Nails, Pulp and Bjork.
This is where I’m keeping my expectations, honestly. I’d be over the moon with both Pulp and Bjork. Lizzo would be a fun set. I’m not a huge fan of AF or AM but completely understand why that would sell tickets. I’ll have seen NIN a few times this year, as well.
The only thing is the lack of pop and only 2 outta 6 are women. I’d wonder if SZA drops a new album, where she would end up. Plus the proverbial BLACKPINK.
Also crossing fingers for Carly Rae Jepsen but that’s always a given.
Think they could do a 2017 and 19 again where they push someone like Lorde in a headliner spot. In 2019 they had Solange, Janelle. Im thinking they get Mitski and put her second or third on her day and give her 75 min.
