On hardcore rn. Trying to think of it like if I went to a festival that had all the best artists of the genre on it which one I'd probably have the lamest time at.

It would be bluegrass but that's not an option right now.

My point is more so 1) if you had to describe what hyperpop sounds like, “exaggeratedly pitch shifted/auto tuned vocals” is one of its hallmarks and 2) PC music or hyperpop didn’t just come out of a vacuum

Okay, but like what characteristics specifically are hyperpop-ish then that are excluded w other genres like art pop, synth pop.

Also, says who. Charli has always been pretty open about how 90's and early 00's dance culture and mid 00's pop has been a major influence on her sound. Kate Bush is none of those.
