kroger's not listed for memphis. gatey, do you know specific memphis kroger's that sell it or is it hit or miss who has it on a particular day?
I live off of 64 in Lakeland and shop at that Kroger (on 64 between I40 and Canada Road). I know that they have it there. We have about talked ourselves out of it for fear that we are going to freeze (and explode) all of our drinks. Is that much of a risk if you do it right?

Nah man, you're fine if you put a good layer between the "explodables" and the dry ice. Just toss some bags, or at least a couple of inches of regular ice between the dry ice and the problem stuff. You can also use some towels or other material.

We are trying to decide if there are major advantages to the tent only area. I think that we might give it a shot, especially if we can get together with you guys. We will be in early Thursday if traffic permits. Would it be ok to show up or should we make plans?
amber and i finally got the right agency to rent a car from so well be bringing as many tiki torches as we can fit into our rental. this is probably the last time ill be on here before we leave at 5:30 a.m. on wednesday so im looking forward to meeting you all amber says hello to you all as well. im going to leave you all with the words of hunter s thompson(pretty sure it was him) buy the ticket, take the ride.
Couple of last minute type things... Just to remind everyone, the location for the camp has been worked out, check the 1st post for the details.
There is a phone list, but we probably won't need it as we know where we'll be. It is still a good idea to print it out and bring it. If something happens and finding the camp isn't as easy as we think the early people will try to make calls. If you are having problems finding it, call someone who should be there already.
Lastly I just wanted to thank Brian, Tara and everyone else for helping out with this. I'll still be around until Wed night if anyone has questions. Have a safe trip.
Just wanted to say, Leo, thanks for organizing this and just helping around generally. It was a break for me as a first timer and minor to have someone who kept answering my questions and my parents' concerns, and it's good to know there'll be cool people around where we'll be camping.
Hey everyone. I'm still packing and will be checking this thread as late as Wednesday at 10 AM. If anyone who is flying in needs me to pick something up and drive it I'd be happy to try and do that. My crew and I won't be camping with you all but we will plan on coming by and hanging out. I've really appreciated everyone's comments in all the different threads. The community has made looking forward to this roo really an ongoing every day highlight. Thanks.
One thing I forgot to mention, while the layout of the tent only area should be the same as last year, the actual camp names (e.g. Camp Shooter McGavin) may be different. Don't let that throw you.
Hey Leo and all. Boy, I wish I would have found this site sooner. I'm Fred and this is my first Bonnaroo. I'm traveling solo, so having a group to camp with would be great. I'm really happy to finally be making the trip to Roo fest and the tent only area is definitely the place for me. Went to ALL GOOD last year and 03 and had a blast. Use to go to Dead shows in the late 80's & early 90's, even went to one Rainbow gathering, a Lollapolooza, Oregon County Fair and various smaller gatherings.
I'm travelling from central PA to Knoxville on Wednesday, then leaving for Manchester early Thursday morning. If anyone needs a lift from Kville to Manchester, drop me a note. I'll be looking for the baby flag when i get there. Travel safe everyone, then party on!

Hey guys, I think I may be joining you at Camp Inforoo, so a little about myself.
This is my third Bonnaroo, and I refuse to be stuck in BFE again. I'll be arriving Wednesday afternoon, because I'm working a vendors stand outside of Centeroo (Outback Kates, just above the Bonnaroo Commisary/Store, on the way to Shakedown. Please stop by!)

Hey everyone. Just hought I would let everyone know that I have already made it from LA to Austin. My cousin is flying in here tonight, and we plan on leaving pretty early tomorrow. Trying to make it to Manchester for the night tomrrow, wake up early and head to 'Roo! Leo, we might make it there about the same time, depending on when we actyually get our asses up and moving on Thursday morning. We might be lazy and sellp until 9 or msomething, but most likely, I will be trying to leave as early as possible. Seeing as my cousin is a freshman in college, 8AM might be pushing it for him. Either way, hope to see you guys there!
Ah, thank you everyone who posted about the dry ice thing! (I should've done my research before asking). Looks like Jeff and I might be sleeping in the airport Wednesday night, seeing as our "hosts" aren't being very responsive as of late. Oh man, the excitement just keeps growing.. we're trying to figure out how we're going to fit everything on the plane, much less carry it all, haha. Our faults for procrastinating. Hey guys I've just found out that I'll be getting in earlier than my originally anticipated Noon Thursday. I'll be driving overnight from FL probably getting close to Manchester around 7 AM, depending of course on traffic.
Since the group will just be forming around then I'm going to write down a couple numbers from the early folks so I can find them. Of course walking to the planned spot should bring us close.'
Excited, you're getting a PM from me right now, since you seem to be coming around the same time.
