We are planning on arriving in Manchester around 5am or so depending when we get out Wednesday night. If someone is putting a phone tree together PM me and I will get you some contact info.
The phone tree idea sounds good, nobody gets stuck making all the calls. Would someone be willing to get that organized, I'm just not going to have the time to get it together. It would involve having people email/PM you their ph #'s and approx. arrival times. A couple of the early arrivers could each make a few calls and it would spread from there. We could figure out somethng for the non-cell enabled too, Amber suggested a sign posted at some agreed upon location (i.e. near/on the arch).

me and my crew have decided that camping only is where we want to be, unless we are parked right behind camping only, so we would like to jion the inforoo crowd, I can't promise I can make phone calls, not even sure what thats about, but we will be there looking for you.
Maybe we should start a myspace account for the camping only people - call it camparoo ?
I'll get you on the list cheese. The phone tree we're talking about is a way to let everyone know exactly where the camp is once we're there (the first few to show up each call a couple people, who call people...)
hi, im audrey, my friend and i are coming from singapore. we should touch down at nashville airport on wednesday night and plan to camp out at the tent-only site. it would be nice if we could join the group, especially since we d be pretty much clueless...

BONNAROO IS SO CLOSE!!!! i can already feel the frantic, gotta get organized mentality stickin in! I have noticed that there have been a few mentions of being direction impared, so here's a user friendly thoiught for those who get turned around as easy as me...make intially sign in a bright color (hot pink, or something so gross you have to notice it) then every so often put up a paper plate with a star or arrow on it to allow people to know they are on the right track, we can get there as early as needed so anyone relying on this method, let us know the time so we can make sure to beat you there
I agree that the phone tree is a great idea. Just let me know who I need to get my number to, and vice versa..
I should be arriving early Thursday. Early being around.. perhaps.. 6:00, 7:00? We're really not sure how long it takes. I live right on the Coast of Mississippi.

So I am officially tent only now and flying to roo! Possibly solo and meeting up with my friends there, since I don't think they want to spend the money to fly with me. I must admit it's not such a bad idea after all... I'll miss my jeep but wow, no driving, I can actually get some sleep this year before I get to TN!
Anybody need to share a shade tent that will have chairs, since I probably can't bring mine on the plane now? I have this shelter but nothing to put under it!
