Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If the park district is not going to approve the final permit they need to make that clear this week. People are traveling from outside of the area to attend this and it's not fair to them to keep them in limbo.
Lot of fun yesterday. So damn hot for Idles. Sunset for end of Jamie and into LCD was fantastic.
Not great at guessing numbers but that sold better than I expected. Hitting the road, few hours of work this week, and then will turn back around for the main course this weekend.
8k maybe? Organizers have to be happy with the turnout, unless they had delusional expectations.
Is anyone here in Dallas? Bored af with this weather delay
yeah was super bummed. the consolation was a pretty cool cloud burst lightning show. wish the disco ball made an appearance tho. guess i'll have to wait and see LCD and jamie in arkansas.
AccuWeather has Saturday as 70 and partly cloudy. Still too early to be sure though. Friday is looking damp
Wow, big difference in forecasts. According to weather.com, there's a 60% chance of thunderstorms on Fri and Sat, with AM showers on Sunday.
I'd be hard pressed to stand in the rain for artists I really like, and this is a lineup filled with artists I'm curious about and would like to see, more than actually now like. The problem with the new venue is that it's grass and not artificial turf. I'm not standing in the mud for anybody, not even Wilco. James Blake is no Wilco.
Predicting storms in NYC right when Idles is supposed to go on….which is a drag. Saying cleared by LCD tune, though. Fingers crossed.
Oh, hourly forecasts are really inaccurate more than a couple of hours out. I'm always checking the hourly forecast to see when I should take my home office lunch break, and often get caught in the rain when it rolls in earlier than the site listed previously that day.

Just grabbed tickets for Merriweather for about $120. Will be my 6th time sending LCD, can’t wait! Calling for rain Friday at the moment, but we’ll be under the pavilion luckily.
It appears there's a chance for pop up storms in Boston every day for the next week. I assume it's similar in NY and DC with the front slowly creeping through.
So that 40% chance of rain means thunderstorms will parade down on East Boston while somewhere like Natick or Gloucester gets almost nothing.

Both suck and mostly the apps use GFS data. Accuweather is a terrible company that starved and underpaid many meteorologists in the 90’s and 00’s. Then they got in league with Rick Santorum who authored a bill that would ban the government from providing weather information to the public that private companies could otherwise do with of course no liability. Basically we pay the taxes to obtain the data but we would have to pay for it on a tiered system from the corporate weather interests. Luckily it failed. They also spawned infamous right wing climate denier Joe Bastardi. Imho, the best source is your local NWS office. Obviously no offense to you Cokes. It’s a sore subject.

You said it better than I could have
I use NWS the vast majority of the time. Sometimes I look at other sites because they have better radar displays, or the curiosity of a 10 day forecast. But that's about it.

I typically don't use AccuWeather, but I happened to have left it open from the Weatheroo thread
Did not know the Santorum stuff, but am not surprised.

I’ve been really bummed about not being able to make Roo happen this year after waiting too long to pull the trigger to the point where flights got too expensive, but the LCD day in DC is going to be a hell of a nice consolation.
