I'm probably at my article limit, what did the Barbie promoters do wrong
Given the Hiroshima/Nagasaki of it all, Japanese culture is pretty not into jokey-jokes when it comes to the atomic bomb. Some of the Barbenheimer cross-over stuff that was promoted by WB and/or the Barbie promotional team seems to have rubbed a lot of Japanese folks the wrong way given its use of mushroom cloud imagery, etc. in a comedic way.
