I'm not sure if you are purposely being difficult, but I will try to rephrase the question. What do you think was in between the Jordan River & the Mediterranean Sea prior to 1948.
There's nothing difficult about my answers. I think Israel had no legitimate claim to the land when the State was established. I'm not sure what I'd consider a "legitimate claim" now but certainly not what the lines currently are.
Really? Who was the president of Palestine? What system of government did they use?
This sounds like colonizer rhetoric. It was the same rhetoric used to colonize Africa, the same rhetoric to wipe out the Natives, just because you don't think a state fits your definition of what a country is, you get to make the rules and do it right.

Between 1922 and 1948 the land was legally and officially under the rule of the British. It was officially called “Palestine” in English.
It was the Palestinian Mandate. The Brits tried to give the land to both the Jews & Arabs who were living there to share. The Jews agreed, the Arabs did not. There was a war, and the Jews won, setting into motion what we have today.
Israel is bombing and shooting into a hospital, killing non-militant adults and children. Hamas is using that same hospital as a military base and using those people as human shields. Both sides are equally not giving a fuck about the people inside.
Why are we fighting about this? They're all at fault here

for someone claiming not to be Islamophobic or anti-Palestine, you're not very good at showing it.
you think humans only deserve to stay on indigenous land if they have a government resembling that of Western populations? the native americans didn't have a president or official structure of govt when British colonizers took over their land hundreds of years ago; so by your estimation, did they not have rights to those lands in effect?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Ah yes, that tired decolinization argument. The land never belonged to the Palestinians, and if the Arabs had won in 1948 they weren't going to hand that land over to the Palestinians either.

haha i wrote out basically the exact same response to him before reading yours. great minds think alike
but yes pale horse is showing his true colors at this point and they are indeed quite morally pale

???
"Starting in 1516, the area of Palestine was ruled by the Ottomans. Living there were longtime inhabitants, migrants from neighboring Syria, Lebanon, and what is now Jordan, and a small Jewish community. In 1834, there was something called the “Peasants’ Revolt,” which some scholars point to as the formative event of the Palestinian people."
so if the people living on the land in 1834 were The Palestinian People at that point, why are you acting like their history began in fucking 1948?

I never said the Palestinian people didn't exist, but they never had control of that land. It was never "Palestine". It was controlled by the Ottomans for hundreds of years, and then after WW1 in part by Egypt, the Brits, and Jordan.

Ah yes because it is their fault that they were basically colonized. I’m sure Palestinians totally wanted and deserved to be at the will of the wonderful, caring Brits.

The Brits had it for a relatively short period of time, but it's not like they took control from the Palestinians. The narrative that the land was "stolen" is unequivocally false, unless you are saying it was stolen from the Ottomans?

They totally loved being controlled by the Ottomans too, you’re right.

who was physically living on the land?
irrelevant to Pale Horse because they didn't have a structured govt at the time nor a President therefore they were illegitimate and had no rights to their land at all.

I never said any of that, don't put words in my mouth. My argument was simply stating that calling what existed in Israel and the Palestinian territories prior to 1948 "Palestine" is unequivocally false.

fine. as taylor swift states, Call It What You Want.
but THE PEOPLE who lived on that land before Zionists came in to colonize.... we are simply stating that the land was rightfully theirs. by way of them, you know, living on it for generations. and you seem to not agree with this notion. do you also think the native americans didn't have rights to the land of America in the 1600s as Brits came in to colonize said land?

What is the point of making that argument other than to imply that they didn’t have a legitimate right to expect that the land would not be taken away from them?
