Just got a pair of Crocs yesterday. I am a size 12 so I tried on two pair XL, one seemed to small and one felt right. When I got home the ones I got seem a bit lose, like they could slip off unless I pull the strap up towards my calf. Should these be more snug in case there is a lot of mud?

thinking about picking up some crocs. theyre just so dang ugly though.
Crocs are like falling in love...it doesn't matter if they are ugly when you see them at first, but when you get them and have them for a while, you don't see the ugly anymore.

Alright, I'll admit, I didn't read every post on all 7 pages, but no one is talking about Keen sandals? Durable, comfortable, toe protection... thoughts?

Woah I just looked at their prices and yeah they had better be the most awesome shoe ever At least $100 wherever I looked. Having said that, I paid close to that for my Birks and they are the best shoe purchase I have ever made...... I will stick with the crocs for now.

i don't know how to make that into a link... unless it shows up as one.
but it's insane!!! i've never had crocs before (couldn't find my size in stores), and there are sooooo many different colors and styles to choose from... i can't decide!
i'm going where the sun keeps shining, thru' the pouring rain, going where the weather suits my clothes. backing off of the north east wind, sailing on summer breeze, and skipping over the ocean like a stone.
I just bought a pair of crocs for myself and my girlfriend...We haven't taken them off since I brought them home...super comfy. ;D I got the ones with the holes on the top and sides-will this work in the mud??? should I get another pair with the closed top? I'm definitely keeping these 'cause I got them pretty cheap but may be willing to invest in another pair if it's worth bringing the kind with the closed top.
I would think that unless you get the cool rain boots they have, that the holes might be preferalble 'cause they make it easier to just rinse off without even taking them off.
Well, I looked at the Mary Janes last weekend (but didn't try them on) and wasn't really sure about them..but I think I'm going to have to cave and get a pair. Better to have a pair of shoes for 'Roo that are re-wearable than to buy a cheap pair of sandals to wear only to throw them out after the weekend.
How small do they run? I really want to order mine online because the shops here don't really carry the Mary Janes, much less in the color I want. I wear a regular size 7 shoe, how would that run on the Mary Janes? Also, I'm trying to decide on a color. I figure if I'm getting a slightly ridiculous-looking shoe I might as well get a ridiculous color too. Hot pink anyone?
I had to take my son to ER last night (nothing too bad, a sprained ankle) and over half the staff were wearing Crocs. I had mine on and get several comments from the folks there, when you're on your feet all day they must be great.

Not sure about the Mary Janes but the Caymans run a little big - I am wearing a 7 but usually wear an 8. I love the bright colors - all my friends have navy, brown, army green etc. - I got a purple pair and an orange pair
Crocs are supposed to fit very loose. On the site they say to have 1/4 to 1/2 inch between your foot and the shoe on all sides, especially in the toe area. I usually wear 8- 8.5 and the 8 fit perfectly according to their fitting protocols.

Have you tried eBay? That's where we got my daughter's size 12 red mary janes. They were a little cheaper, but several dollars cheaper than ordering them from the Crocs site due to the shipping charge on the Crocs site.
