Inside Centeroo they sometimes ID. Local (charity) groups run different beer tents (they volunteer staff and receive a percentage of sales) People who are polite, not already toasted and confident seem to have few problems.
most of the cops I've talked to over the years are looking for tanks, just call the Sir and be nice to them if you give the a attitude they will give you a hard time
Yeah, tanks and meth. In '05, we were waiting in line on the highway and while driving near a cop I asked him if drugs were a big problem at Roo. He said, "You could roll up a joint right here and I'll tell you to smoke it. We're looking for meth-heads; they get mean." I have a feeling not all cops are that open to watching you roll up some weed, though.

As a former police officer, I can tell you for the most part it is "don't ask don't tell". Most cops could care less about a little weed. Just don't aasume you can light one up in front of a cop. Meth heads are a huge problem.
