Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
One other very important benefit to VIP, you bypass those centeroo security checks. I could fly in to centeroo and grab a gyro and be back in my chair in 10 to 15 mins. Also, the 20 X 50 foot sites. I can't imagine roughing it in GA.
I'll tell you last year we combined 3 Vip spots we had plenty of room .. This year there should be 3 groups of us again. and with the new 10'x20' enclosed party tent we bought and the other pop ups we have we should have plenty of shade and an air conditioned party tent this yr . Bring on the heat , genny was just serviced , everything is in place , just need the tickets and june to get here .
as far as i know, chefy might be camping next to me and my girlfriend. if we can manage, we want to get some other friends to join us - but it might end up where we have an extra ticket if they sell them in pairs again.
frankly, they should have slightly higher priced single VIP tickets to make this less complicated.
on an unrelated note, this new christmas mistletoe i got from my cousin is FANTASTIC.

In the past they have offered single VIP upgrades for regular tickets in their travel packages (no hotel/shuttle required, if I remember correctly). It was quite a bit more expensive though, when you add that to the cost of the original ticket. But for those not wanting the hassle of splitting, it could be worth it!
I did the vip thing last year with just me and my girlfriend. I think I'm going to have at least 2 more people coming with me in the pop up this year. If we all fit in 1 car but we still have the 1 RV parking pass and the 1 regular parking pass that comes with the vip tickets, will they let us have an empty spot next to the one we park the pop up on for a shade tent and other junk?

Thats very hard to say ,, There were , alot bus's, motor homes , pop ups , pull behinds, I'd say ..Now this is a guess70% vehicles-----30% tents .. maybe even less. We in the 3rd row back from the arch and everything around us was rv;s EXCEPT for our friends who had tents .. we have a motorhome .. but with gas prices thats staying home this yr and we are bringing a 3 room tent and a few pop ups and a party tent too.
Thanks! I can't tell y'all how valuable this thread has been. My friend and I are first timers (she from CO, me from MD) and we'll be camping (tent) in VIP. All your posts have been immensely helpful. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Korvette, I take it you drive down? We're contemplating shipping and flying or driving from the Annapolis area.

Yep we drive ,,17 hrs one way .. There is an airport shuttle , i think its $55 more for a round trip ride to and from the airport....Thats alot to ship and then carry in ...better ship a few handtrucks too.. or hook up with someone who has the room share the ride ...Make a new friend.. ;D
We drove from Pembroke ontario to Murfreesboro in one day and it took us 20 hours total. I was exhausted but couldn't sleep well in the hotel cuz I was wired from the trip. We are doing it in two days this time.

It would be about a 12 hour drive for us. If we fly, we'll rent a car. I think we'll ship just the tent and carry the rest with us or buy it all when we get to Nashville. Ugh, logistics!

we break our trip up on the way down .. we leave 3 or 4 days before . and stop in different places , last yr we stopped and camped in a great campground ,and did the tourist thing in Natural Bridge ,Va It was great then got a hotel outside of manchester for the night before roo.. the whole hotel was loaded with people for roo except a few old couples who thought "what did we walk into" We met a few cool people ther , But it was still a 40 min ride to the check in area .. .. then we drive str8 through on the way home 17 LONG hrs after bonnaroo.. whew totaled, ready to sleep for two days and recover for a week after that .. I LOVE BONNAROO
that hotel is booked with the Tenn state police.. we tried already.. the day after Roo last yr we called
It's booked right now, but they release rooms around April. Last year I was watching it and managed to get a room around the 30th of April. They just ovebook it and as it gets closer, numbers open.
We took an RV for the 2nd time as VIP'ers last year; 7 hour drive for us.

I've just tried Greenleafe Inn again on Expedia.ca. There is still room available and I can still book. Weird! I don't understand though may be because I'm using CA instead of .com? I didn't actually try filling out the form in completeness neither.

book it , worse case you can cancel 48 hrs in advance ,, use your cc and just tell them you are paying cash when you get there , then they dont charge your card ..

It was a good call ..do you know how much rooms will jump if they do say (LED ZEP) .. Ive seen people selling rooms on e bay .at 3x's the cost .. with zep..10x's the amount of people will drive the rate up.. supply and demand ...
OMG Thats Crazy! I mean for Gods Sakes, seeing Zepplin would be good, but I'm there for such bands as Perpetual Groove, STS9, Franti, MMJ, Gov. Mule, Galactic, etc........
Not super-fast, but faster than general admit... GA was still on sale the week of last year, but IIRC, VIP sold out at least several weeks beforehand. Maybe more.
Thanks for the info. I still think if there is rumour that LZ is playing, it will sell out even quicker. Hrmmmm
Dont belive the HYPE Until you get an Email from Bonnaroo.com saying they will be there.. ..On the day the VIP tix go on sale (last yr it was Feb 23. @noon) you be online with you credit card and you'll get a ticket trust me .. the Pope could show up and you will get a ticket ...UNLESS you wait till the last min... Relax It'll be fine ...
