last year we were trying ti foolow all the rules that we got from Leo and inforoo and the official site. we couldnt find canned beer much so brout Rolling Rock
to this day I will never be able to drink another one
either spend lot sof time looking for good beer in cans
ick
or take your chances nwith bottles. I love beer, but not in cans. its just nasty.
"They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then that we will see the rising of the moon."
Last year, we brought a few cases of Brooklyn Lager in cans. Look out for those. Everyone I gave one to was in awe as to how good that beer was.
I'm a huuge beer elitist and can't drink anything lighter than a brown, and it dam well not be made in large batches. Guinness is way too heavy for a hot day, and it's mass produced these days which dilutes the flavor. The kids these days all think it's cool to drink Guinness since it's not Budweiser and it's dark. Don't listen to them, drink for yourself.
Hefs are OK when it's 100 degrees plus outside. Whites are hit/miss, the only good ones are from Belgium. IPAs are good when it's over 90 degrees out and they don't put TOO much hops in there. Ambers I drink, I count them as being brown in color. sorta lite brown, I guess.
I didn't sell any last year, so you didn't get those brooklyns from me. The local drink shop here always has stacks of them, so chances are I'm bringing more this year. Meet me in VIP and it's on the house.
Believe it or not, I actually just like the way that Guinness tastes.
Same here. I wasnt aware that it was cool... I also highly doubt kids drink Guinness over Bud because its "cool" for one thing, its a hell of alot more expensive, and for another, they couldnt be more different in terms of taste, so one isnt really a logical replacement for the other...

guinness is good for you. seriously, a glass has all the vitamins and nutrients of a slice of bread. which means you could technically live off of it... yay for guinness!! slainte!

I am considered a "kid" and i'm the only one i know who drinks Guinness. I drink it because i like my beer to taste like something other then piss and/or water. I've never seen anyone buy Guinness to just get drunk, and i rarely do as well. That guys comment was pretty ignorant.

I'm glad to see there are some people with good taste coming to the 'roo! I'll be sure to share my heady brews with all you fine folks. We should organize some kind of pot-luck beer swap in VIP!
Since we're on the subject, I'll subject you to my beer saying that I've been spreading around for over 20 years (you may have heard this one):
What does Budwiser have in common with having sex in a canoe?
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont, and we're slowly learning that fact & we're very, very pissed off......."

We took a couple cases of Heineken tallboys and Newcastle cans. Both were utterly blissful.
Other beer thing to know is: DRY ICE. we lined the bottom of our cooler w/ dry ice and packed ice on top and did not buy ice ONCE. we had cold, cold beer the whole time.
dry ice can be found, if no other options exist, at welding supply shops.

I think the american version is bass, and you dont mix it. Blue Moon works well too, its not a black and tan though. Thats obviously not the only way to do it though, you can mix whatever you want.
Theres a store near where I live called Total Wine, they sell a few different kinds of beer in plastic bottles too. My personal favorite, Carolina Blonde comes in those plastics.
