OMG CAN I GET ANY MORE EXCITED! I love spending cash!
Ok not a fashion item but we are coming from Canada and I bought today the 70 quart 5 day cooler! The thing is massive! We need it because the gals love juice and po etc.
Ok for fashion! Today I went out like someone on this thread mentioned and bought the Neutrogena Cooling mist which is a 45UV Protection. I also bought Banada Boat Aloe After Sun cooling mist which is in the same style aerosol bottle. My gal pal who is on the "Magical Mystery Tour" also to Roo bought the Aveeno Cooling mist 45 also.
I bought today from Walmart a fluorescent pink bikini top which has kind of like arabic paterns on the ummm umm fronts...... ties at the top arend the neck and around the back too. I bought 2 tanks from Walmart also one is chocolate brown with nice lacey bottom and the other is two tanks together, inside is white and outside is forest green!
Walmart had kewl shirts but I'm just not a skirt wearer......
Hmm what else did I get? oh yeah I got the new material for my next Bonnaroo quilt including some great african animal tapestry, all was on sale because walmart here is not selling material anymore
Yeah I was just looking for this hideous DEEP purple gown I designed years ago, I was going to cut it up for a few rich looking squares on my quilt. DERN I think I tossed it out! Even had hubby looking for it.
I checked out the inforoo shirts. My own personal opinion but I wish they had tanks in a camo, chocolate, or any other dark color. I'm bummed! Can't see keeping a white tank clean for long! hehehehe ;D

... oh thanks for the reminder I've got to break out the baithing suits I didn't wear one at all last year cause our pool was broken down, only got to bust it out once while on vacation up north... so considering I havn't worn most of them in like two years I don't even know if they fit... and I hate suit shopping

i hate shopping for bathing suits too lol, especially because you have to leave your underoos on while trying them on! which is definitely understandable, but it can look and fit pretty funny while in the dressing room, argh!
Hi everyone. I am excited cause I got two dresses for 30 dollars total at Kohls. One is really cute the other not so cute but its light and airy so I don't care. If I was computer savy I'd post pics but I can't seem to figure that out. I bet since they are from Kohls I'll see about a hundred other girls wearing them but oh well. I am just happy they were on sale.
Kohl's sales are GREAT! I just went by the clearance rack and bought 2 nice and cool hawaiian shirts, one for $7 and one for $8 (normally $35 each) and I found a $50 hoodie for $4. You'll see me wearing them at Roo. I always shop Kohl's sales.

I wish my chest merrited the use of the shelf bra in the bikini, unfortunatly I have to stick with the little ones or a one pice cause the girls arn't up to scratch when it comes to bra style bikinis

Hmmm. This is by far my fav. thread.
I thought for a min that i was not gonna worry about what i looked like while I am down there considering I am going with two guy pals...but this has changed my mind =)
this will be my frist roo and so far my only question is this...
Is the backpack a must? I hate, hate, hate lugging things around but every picture i see some one has a backpack on..
andddddd
I was just gonna wear sunglasses all weekend but then i realized i have to wear something on my eyes... does waterproof mascarra work well batleing the heat and humidity?
I dont wear mascara at roo, but I can answer the first question for ya... I would say yeah, you want to bing a bag of some sort. there is always sunscreen and water and things like that to carry... i mean, unless you wear cargo shorts.
A back pack is not absolutely necessary but it's nice to have somewhere to put all your stuff. If you're going w/ 2 guys do what I do, I use my husband for storage. He'll have the camelback and cargo shorts
Waterproof mascara does OK, that's the only make-up I'll wear if I wear any at all.
ha i know im gunna wonder off from my boys im riding with my friend who lives in chicago is meeting me at Roo im sooo exited i never care wat i look like but i have a feeling since hes coming with me il be carrying a little mirror in my tent and checking myself every so often
i havent wore make up since i was 13 ha i dont shave i haeva feeling il be cakin on the sunscreen tho i am VERY pale and il burn !
so i've done the impossible. i sewed my very first skirt. my very first anything actually. it's not much to look at but you bet your a$$ i'll be sporting it at roo. i just had to tell you guys b/c i was so proud of myself ;D ;D ;D

oh, something else i wanted to add to the thread. i just got some new makeup and i'm totally addicted. its called bare minerals. it's kinda pricey (i normally do all my make-up shopping at wallyworld) but it's totally worth it. i wore it while trying to set up my tent in the hottest part of the day and it stayed on really well. and i was sweatin' like no body's business. it's not cakey or heavy but the coverage is really great. and their foundations and other face powders have some spf in it which is a bonus. i will definately be packing mine up for roo. just thought i would spread the good word.

congrats on the new skirt!!! ^^^
I know people who swear by bare minerals.
ditto... to the first... and I second the second (yeah that wasn't supposed to come out that way)... although mine isn't bare minerals it's minerology... but basically the same thing, talc free mineral powder... I went to a salon and they mixed it to match my skin tone... But I got the physicians formula virsion for the summer (cause I'm broke) and even though it's no longer the perfectly matched mix... it works just as well
