Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
thanks for your advice about packing.. I am not the most rugged gal! ;Op but I'll be toting lots of different glitters to besparkle anyone who will let me, so I will let my purple suitcase have suitcase pride and I will just Let It Be like Paul sang... woo woo woo Roo
I have bottles of that "Naturally Smooth" lotion we were talking about a few pages back. It inhibits hair growth. I got quite a hook up from a fellow inforooer.
If you want a bottle let me know and I'll send you one. ;D
I am one of the lucky ones I guess - I will shave my legs on Wednesday and pretty much be good to go until we leave to go home Monday. But I am a redhead with very fair skin and light hair

oooh... so my inforoo tank got here some time this weekend (I dunno when I wasn't home much) but It was a pleasant surprise last night... Now I've just got to figure out how to get my name on the back of it Thoroughly excited
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
Its so big She looks like one of those frat guys girlfriends Who understands those frat guys They only talk to her because she looks like a total girl scout I mean her suitcase It's just so big I can't believe it's so pink It's just out there I mean, it's gross Look, she's just so tidy!
cue "I like big butts and I cannot..."
Joking and adjusted lyrics aside, no one is going to care how you got there, what your clothes are packed in, or even what your hair looks like after a couple days. Don't sweat it!
I know I'm a bit late for lauren but as soon as I started reading her suitcase qualms I got the early talking part for that song in my head. It's too early on a Sunday for me to be on the boards...

Ok just finished the second quilt for bonnaroo. Nice, I like it, its bloody huge though!! Sat up til 2am this morning doing the quilt then couldn't sleep. This one has the Peace sign in the middle and hands around it facing inward towards the peace sign. (That means for me anyways, to embrace peace) my husband and I spent an hour turning the hands around outward, then inward then outward and so on tile I figured, NO THE HANDS HAVE TO BE INWARD! Sheesh.
Ok onto more important things,
CROCS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I searched everywhere on Thursday in Toronto and didn't find any that I liked. I wanted the really limey ones but only found an emerald green and the Celery.
I bought the celery or actually my Baby boy (He is 4 years old) got them for me for Mothers day. I picked them out yesterday and him and Daddy went and picked them up today! I finally have them!!

some company (damned if I can remember who) used to (I dunno if they still do) make an aftershave cream (or was it a gel) that prevented those little bumps pretty well... but I've found that if i just exfoliate really well before & after I shave (think bath and body works tahiti sweety margarita sugar scrub) and then moisturize right after my bath I dont have any problem with it (and I used to get them horrible on my thighs) But then again (and pardon my long ramblings) if it's only when you go outside it could be an allergy of some sort (for some reason the grass on campus, and only that grass, makes bumps on me everywhere it touches) or it could be from the heat or sun... heat rash sucks!

very upsetting
I have found that Aveno has a really great shave gel made specificly for that.
it is really amazing! wrt the bikini line, plucking works well and avoids the whole razor bumps issue, but the tend skin is really good at relaxing the ingrown hairs.
Its a stress reliever! I have 4 kids and a husband and fulltime Career but because I'm a shift worker, I seem to have free time when kids are at school. I started that quilt top on Saturday afternoon and was done by 1:30am in the morning. I'm super fast at sewing. I actually finished it this morning but now have a wicked headache and have to work the night shift tonight. Bummer for me. Husband says I'm obsessive compulsive but I wanted it done before I head off to the Roo meeting next Monday. So, the quilt took 14 hours start to finish.
I find its a nice stress reliever to accomplish something like this and it keeps me busy! This was my Mother's day relaxation technique.
That quilt is great! I know what you mean about sewing to relax. I don't sew as much as I embroider... not cross stitch... embroidery. But cross stitch is how I started when I was a kid. Making pretty stuff is always a good stress reliever.
That's some of my work in my signature.
oh, and I still have some lotion anybody want one? Supplies are limited.....
you guys officially rock. did you see that the showers are being hosted by Garnier Fructis and will therefore feature Fructis shampoo and conditioner. also, there will apparently be a station where they will be styling peoples' hair and giving out freebies?? wowza. I want to see the gelling and pomading going down at the Roo... some mohawks, spikes, who knows what! the hipsters will be happy. ;Op I am a hairdresser so maybe I will help heheheh throw some glitter in there...

^^ I did see that on the roo site... I wonder how much they shall be charging for the showers since it is backed by advertising.
and soulmate... I love your quilt! I am jealous of your abilities. I just finished my first patchwork skirt and It makes me want to make a giant pathwork quilt like the ones my grandmother used to make

don't quote me on this but the showers will prolly be about $10.00 - that is what they were last year - or so I heard - I never did find a shower - although I did not look too hard either. I can see the benefits - but for me - 'roo is about the escape from reality - I won't be showering
I have a theory about the new corporate showers. I think that they'll be more plentiful and nicer, but they'll more than likely still be $10. If it were my company I would make sure my name wasn't associated with sup-par facilities.
I don't know if I'll end up using them but if they make it easy for me I'll think about it.
