Hmm. I think you might get an interesting tan line. I love henna though, but I don't remember seeing anybody doing it last year. Maybe someobdy on shakedown?? You could try that.
On the glitter note, I find the best place to buy glitter cheap is Wal-Mart. They have that 'bon-bons' brand that is like 88 cents for a little thing, so you could try that. Also, wet-n-wild makes a loose glitter (sorta like a pixie dust looking stuff) that is GREAT and lasts forever. As for myself, for dance team I use Urban Decay's glitter eyeliner. It's amazing, but $19. I doubt any of you guys want glitter that expensive, unless you have to use it on a regular basis like I do. If I come into any extra money, I'll pick up a few of those glitter thingys at wal-mart and mail them to you. If you catch me at Bonnaroo (at night, at least) I'm sure you can ask me for some and I will oblige!
The quilts are GORGEOUS!!! You should be really proud!
Quite the opposite of stress relief, sewing, embroidery, any of that is quite stressFUL for moi, probably because I stink at it. My stress relief is exercise and guitar - tactile but not as fine motor skill I suppose. Or detail oriented And I have to move around more and burn off more energy, good for my hyperness! ;D
Yes, I will be the one spinning round in circles WITHOUT the benefit of recreational "goodies" at 'Roo.... just to burn off excess energy! ;D
And I tried the suitcase today, I packed it full of random clothes and things (just to get the weight close) and then strapped my djembe to the front and my HUGE tent on top.... It worked great! I am definately doing that for Roo.... I can just hide it in the tent, no one will know.
nothing to add, i just wanted to say that i miss you guys. my only computer is at work and my new replacement is using it so i've got to sneak my girly thread time when i can. i'll be back soon.

For the voluptuous ladies out there, I found these shorts that we could wear underneath those lovely skirts. It's that QuikWik stuff people are talking about, too!
I just got these in the mail, ladies, and I have to say they are remarkably comfortable. I got the longer ones...they come to about 3 inches above the knee. I think any shorter and my legs would rub. They are soooooo soft and aren't hot at all!
^^^ I knew I was forgetting to order something today. I just ordered some skirts/tops and thought I was missing something. Thanks..I am going there right now :-)
Ughhh God! Just woke up, working night shifts lastnight and tonight.....Pooped for sure! Well I want everyone to come and sit on the quilts and we'll take a cute pic of all the glittered up girlys from the thread!!!
I like the henna, I already have tattoos though so probably won't get more body art done.
I like the Garnier Fruitis thing! Hey about the showers, sorry folks but 10 dollars is WORTH it in my eyes! I love to be nice and clean! I'll try out the trough but if it doesn't do a sufficient job, then I'll hit the shower. Are we able to bring a partner to ummm. shower two at a time? (I'm talking about my husband.....) God now I have to put more stuff on my list to go to Roo! Glitter!

Haha, I like how you list "Tennessee dirt brown" as a color...being from the south, I totally understand that. I went to Old Navy this weekend and there are TONS of cute, lightweight dresses there as well as cheap tank tops and tees ($8.50-$10.00). Definitely a good place to look for stuff!
That Urban Decay glitter looks great! I have the eyeliner, but I'll definitely have to invest in the gel. The silver is my personal favorite, but they're all pretty and sparkly!
So, I just went to salvation army, picked up twp skirts, and a few tanks with the shelf bra in them. I also bought a few twin sized sheets, which i cut up into floor length a-line wrap skirts..... So I now have a whole summer's worth of prettyful things!!!
Def. happy about the shelf bra tops, that means no bras are even coming to roo with me! i love it.
hey everyone! I just renewed chatting on inforoo yesterday and just spent the last hour and half reading this thread because every year I'm most excited about planning out my outfits and accessories!! I wanted to let Lauren know that a few years ago my bf and I decided to fly from NY and take the shuttle down. I know we had at least one suitcase...maybe two! And i think we had a couple bags too, because I'm notorious for overpacking. I felt a little weird about it, but no one even cared. We just left the suitcases in the tents and still had plenty o' room. We did the camping only and just had little locks for the tent (like that would keep anyone out!)
I, too, am obsessed with making stuff for roo and with forever 21. Just got a couple of cute sundresses from 21 that I'll be bringing....always wore bikini top and skirt in the past, but i just don't feel like worrying about the belly this year. And I'm making a skirt for one day that I think I'll pair with a tank top advertising to the Animal Wrangler from Flaming Lips that I want to be one of the Alien girls onstage. And I'm hoping to make another dress out of a Hold Steady top that I got in a super big size so I can reconstruct it. I'm just waiting for my new sewing machine to arrive because I nearly chucked the other one out the window over the weekend. Any other crafty girls in inforoo world also on craftster? Because that would be my other obsession when I'm not caught up in prepping for roo! ok long post, but i'm really totally ready for the roo goodness to begin!!!!!

Dani, didn't you say you were from A2? Is there a fun selection of stuff at that Salvation Army? Never been to that one but always wondered?
