Burn that bra! Seriously! I haven't worn one in over 40 years. I think they were invented by Victorian men to make us miserable...as payback because they have to wear ties...;-)
I previously would never go anywhere without a bra, but I had reduction surgery in 2014. So while they are still not small, I can definitely get away with not wearing a bra with most of my festival dresses
I know I have said it in this thread before, but I despise being braless. It isn't comfortable for me and I wear one even if home alone. I don't take it off until the second I climb into bed! #teambra
Totally 100% agree. I even wear one to bed... A sports bra, but still a bra. I am just so much more comfortable in a bra. There's no way in hell I'd go out in public without a bra, and I don't even have big girls. It's a self-conscious thing I guess.
target has bogo 50% off a bunch of clothes/swim right now. and for today only, you can get 29% off all graphic tees, xhiliration clothing and jeans with the cartwheel app. stack those deals!

Rocking a D cup. If I don't wear a bra, my boobs get sweaty and ain't nobody got time for that. Even on my gross days, I'll wear a sports bra, but it's VERY rare I go without a bra.

I'm also team bra!!! seriously! without one if I move too fast or bounce at all I would have a black eye and bruised ribs. they are out of control and need to be contained.
I wish I could go topless at Roo but I have E cups so...yeah...
BUT for those who choose to go topless I suggest SPF 50+ and Maybe even some metallic paint on the nips (bc a nip burn sounds like the worst kind of burn).
Hey don't hate on me, you're the one flexing tit sizes.
To other women...in the girly fashion thread... But yes, please go away because you're making yourself sound just as sleazy as I'm sure you actually are.
Moving on, who wants to talk about menstrual cups and good feminine hygiene choices for festivals!?

Hey, I'm 61--that's not an issue for me..don't be hatin...
(although I'd hate to have to put a tampon in in a portapotty...)
I've been on the shot for so long, my last menstrual cycle was Bonnaroo 2014, literally. It was awful. All the portos.
I guess I haven't put my thought into since I don't have this issue but it does affect A LOT of women during festival season... what are good hygiene choices for festivals?!?!? I've never used the cup before. IDK how it works??

Haha...Perfect subject change to drive the males outta here!
But yeah, I've never used a cup before either... I'm curious about it for sure. Does it last longer than a tampon?

I use a Diva Cup for my menstrual needs, but I would not use it for a camping festival. It holds more than a tampon and I can usually wear it 6-8 hours on heavy days and all day on lighter days (I'll clean it at night before putting it back in). But, I would not use it at Bonnaroo just because of wanting to be sure that it is completely clean before reinserting it... all of which would be a little too challenging to do in a port-o-potty.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
These are incredible. But I'm Canadian and I'm cheap and our dollar does me no favours. I'm going to keep looking though. I'm so shy when I'm hooping, and I'd love to just jam out this year and not worry about the people watching.

Hey, it's Roo and no one knows who you are. Those of us that don't hoop well really enjoy watching y'all that do, so rock out! It'll be appreciated! I can't dance well and that doesn't stop me from jammin, I just close my eyes and everyone else goes away. Remember the saying -"Dance like nobody's watching"..I guess that works for hooping too!

For sure! And I appreciate the confidence boost! Im exceptionally self conscious at the best of times and while I'm getting better, I still would love a hood to retreat into. Like a late night turtle.

Alright ladies! The time is getting near! I made my first list tonight and tried on some summer clothes. Although this will be my 7th Roo my packing (specifically clothes) changes every year. Last year I departed from dresses and bike shorts and loved it! Found some comfy short shorts, large tank tops with my bra, or bathing suit top, under. I also rocked a mesh baseball cap a lot and found it kinda sweaty, but also protected my face.

I'm doing the boho skirt thing again--worked well last year, especially in the portos. Also just got 10" of hair cut off yesterday for Locks of Love and have a short bob; that'll be soo much cooler at Roo this summer.

I have to get a haircut this week! Gonna look into donating as well.

My clothing list has changed every year too!!!!! This year I'm doing mostly tanks and my running shorts. I have no desire to be cute and girly this year... I just want to be comfortable. I may bring my sundresses just in case bc they are comfortable.
Absolute best compromise between a tampon and the DivaCup. Perfect for festivals! I've been on my period for 5/6 of my Bonnaroos.
You can leave these in for up to 12 hours and then just dispose of after!
looks like I'll have the pleasure of my period this year. Just ordered these. can't wait to use them
Ordered these as well, based off these suggestions. My period isn't falling on Roo days (Of course now that they have potties) but instead is during a burn right before. I should have reviews on these before Roo but I'm thinking these plus my shewee should make things better in portos.
