My clothing choices never change for Roo, unless I add a hoodie for warmth at night. Always the lightest possible sundresses, preferably knee length. It's always been the most comfortable thing for me.

Alright ladies! The time is getting near! I made my first list tonight and tried on some summer clothes. Although this will be my 7th Roo my packing (specifically clothes) changes every year. Last year I departed from dresses and bike shorts and loved it! Found some comfy short shorts, large tank tops with my bra, or bathing suit top, under. I also rocked a mesh baseball cap a lot and found it kinda sweaty, but also protected my face.
My clothing list has changed every year too!!!!! This year I'm doing mostly tanks and my running shorts. I have no desire to be cute and girly this year... I just want to be comfortable. I may bring my sundresses just in case bc they are comfortable.

i wore a hat last year and it about killed me. Going without one this year and just using sunglasses or my bandana!

Diva cup is a life changer, i've been using one for almost 6 years now because I was going to have mine during a festival. The first couple times I used it I had issues with it leaking but thats because I wasn't inserting it correctly. Once you get the hang of it you will have no issues. I've never had any leaking while dancing the night away at Roo. I know you're suppose to empty every 12 hours but a few times I found myself just emptying it in the morning while at Roo. I would just wake up in the morning once they cleaned the bathrooms, wash my hands, and then go do my thing.

I've been using these for at least ten years. Leaks are never a problem, they're specifically designed so you can have sex mess free on your period. Once you get the process even taking them out can be mess free. Granted I'm a light flow, but they're quite clean actually. Good luck!

No issues at all and that was even spending the day running around at the hospital
I also use diva cup but didnt want to THINK about washing it at roo. That's why I tried the disposable. I think the disposables are easy to get the hang of (at least for me) than the diva so you should be fine

This is exactly why I begin my squats and drunk hovering at home at the beginning of May. Gets my legs in prime shape and my body gets used to trying to be steady.
My porto time is as efficient as possible. Because I pee more than anyone I've ever met.

What's everyone feeling for this year?
I just bought myself a pair of low cut tie dye Chuck Taylor's. Figure I'll get some gel insoles and break them in for Roo.
Wandered through the dress section at the thrift store, but still have some winter blahs going on (physically and mentally) and couldn't get excited for summer. But now that it's finally been warm here for a few days in a row, it's much easier to remember what the sun feels like!

i've managed to keep my weight the same all year so I'll be basically wearing the same clothes from last year. lots of shorts and tanks and a few breezy dresses. Trying not to spend a lot on clothes bc money is tight but did go to an academy sports and pick up some extra shorts on clearance!
I discovered at Okeechobee Fest that somehow fishnets prevent chub rub so I'm thinking some shorts and tanks with fishnets and high tops will be in order this year. And costumes for night time, of course!
There are some awesome things on Wish but double check sizes and order soon because everything takes several weeks to arrive. My otter onesie should be here next week <3

I'm thinking I really want one of those capes that looks like butterfly or bird wings. I'm debating on doing a full Rey from Star Wars for Saturday. The costume would allow for skin in all the right areas for me to easily hoop.

This thread has sure been quiet...Rocking anything new at Roo this year? I made a Tie-tu, a tutu made entirely of 48 men's ties from yard sales and thrift shops. Heavy as HELL and maybe too hot to wear but I like the way it moves so I'll probably bring it. Now I have to find a local ugly Father's day tie contest and enter it!
