Good old Vitamin Y. I always have at least a 12 pack of yuengers in my fridge. I probably drink more Yuengling than any other liquid in the world. If you like darker stuff their Black and Tans are great as well.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
it really is a delicious beer, for a cheaper one. i enjoyed many a draft when i was out in syracuse for college. it's too bad that it's nowhere to be found in new england tho
will be definitely drinkin many of these and some magic hat #9's down in TN!
Karma for being a Syracusian College Student, and a Yuengling (though I'm at Le Moyne, not SU)
PBR's cheap as hell. Yuengers aren't that expensive, but not 30 pack cheap like Miller Lite and PBR.
I'm a fan of the Black and Tans too. A while back, before my band would play at a local bar... We made it a point to drink 8 pints of B&T before we got onstage... Good times! haha

Exactly what he said, although I drink a lot of blue Gatorade too.
I think I posted this somewhere else before but last year I brought 2 cases of Yuengling and 16 Amstel Light's (great with breakfast). Turned out to be just the right amount for the weekend. I plan to repeat this step this year.
<edit>and a case of frozen water bottles to keep it all cold<edit>
as long as you drink water i think you should be ok...but make sure you drink water. Also getting on a good regiment of drinking a ton of water the days before the festival should help you stay hydrated.

does beer dehydrate you? would it be a bad idea to plan on only drinkin beer the whole weekend?
This would be a terrible, terrible, idea. At the very least, you'd land yourself in the hospital, and if you were oh-so-dedicated to your cause to not drink water even when you knew you needed it, you'd probably die.
On another note, I freakin' hate yuengling. Cheap College Beer FTW!
I like Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale, though. Sam Adams Summer Ale and Magic Hat #9 are absolutely fabulous in the warmer months.
BTW, B and I drank a good bit of beer during the day (a lot of water as well), but I found myself laying unconscious with heat stroke in the middle of the media tent on Saturday afternoon! NO FUN. Stay hydrated at all costs!
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

Keep on coming with the good canned beers. I've been questioning this for a while, but just cant find anything around here.
Yuengling is available pretty much everywhere around me, but not here. I love me some Yuengling though. Not just good for cheap beer, but good beer period.
Dale's Pale Ale you can't get here either. I'm not much of a fan anyway.
Anyone know of any Belgian whites or Hefes that come canned?
As far as CANNED beer In my personal opinion Yuengling has been very good to me. Not because it is cheap but because we cannot take glass into the ROO. If it was BOTTLED beer, Paulaner Oktoberfest-Märzen is the shit! As well as Spaten Oktoberfest...buuuut we cannot take bottles so as far as canned Yuengling has treated me well, although I am interested in the ones that were mentioned here. He heinekin keg can was nice too and it fit well in certain place of my back pack;

Sorry, but $20 bucks for a 30 rack of shitty bud light is a ripoff.

lol dont apologize i dont get offended cuz you think bud light is crapp, hey different strokes for different folks
I heard people raving about Yuengling last year and tried to go buy some for Bonnaroo, but alas, it's not available in Kentucky. I ended up with Corona in cans...which wasn't too bad, but not too great either.
Corona can't touch Modelo. That's just my opinion, of course, but I stand firmly behind that. Heineken is slightly overrated, but for a heavily advertised import, it's about as good as you get.

Am I alone in thinking that Corona is a wee bit overrated? Not saying it's bad, just think that it gets a bit too much undeserved attention.
i believe corona and heineken are overrated. there are just soooo many other absolutely delicious beers out there.
Here's how it works: The beers that spend the most money on advertising tend to be the most popular and over-rated. The better beers are able to make a healthy profit without spending more money on ads than on making beer.
