Picked up my case of Yuengling a couple of weeks ago. Had some problems finding it in cans. I was passing through Tenn. and realized that I could buy Yuengling there. I had no idea that you can not buy beer at a liquor store in TN! Grocery stores and gas stations only, strange. Also had my family bring back a case of Labatts Blue from Canada last week. I know I can buy it in the states but some how it always tastes better if it comes from north of the border.
Coming from Pittsburgh here where Yuengling is a staple in our area....it really is the only beer I drink around here.....Will be in VIP with 3 cases and willing to share or trade for other local beers that I never have tasted
Didn't want to start another canned beer thread, so I though I'd bump this one with my latest discovery in a can: Atlantic Amber, made by the New England Brewing Company:
A really great beer! I'm not big on hoppy beers (or Dick's Pale Ale would probably do it for me) and am a big fan of ambers. I was able to find it locally in Virginia, but haven't a clue how easy it is to find elsewhere. The New England Brewing Company (according to its website: newenglandbrewing.com/brews.html ) has 3 beers in cans: the Atlantic Amber, Sea Hag IPA and Elm City Lager. If the other two are as good as the amber, they'd be great choices for the 'Roo!
^^ Good find.. never seen it around my parts of VA but I'll keep a look out for it this weekend when I go to Harrisonburg to purchase my Dales Pale Ale.
