Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I will have to try that out. I really have not found a canned beer that is better than Yuengling yet, Dales is good, but at 9.99 it might not make the trip to Tenn!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
I always end up taking cases of Iron City. You can find it in a can or (my pick) an aluminum bottle. So so good. And Steel_City_X Karma (as soon as I can) for the Fat Tire reference. That is just one of the things I miss about living west of the Mississippi.

Yay for supporting local breweries and all, but I'm from Pittsburgh and that's pretty much the only reason I can think for drinking Iron City Beer (supporting the local brew). I'm pretty sure a lot of it is just water from the Mon.

Oh OH OH... so I'm always hearing someone mention something about Yuengling on these threads all the time... being from Georgia I've never had the privilege of drinking it... sooo I was in NYC last weekend and I had some.... It was pretty damn good Just thought I would share the fact that I have finally been enlightened.
Yes its the better of the cheaper beers. Its even better at bonnaroo right out of the ice Chest!! We were able to get some into Centeroo and it tasted even better there!

I wonder if anyone would be interested in having a beer tasting event at the Roo. Maybe choose a time in camping only everyone bring a six of there favorite local and we can share some different things.
Items to consider. No glass of course (hah) Distributing beer not available in TN is technically illegal(although I don't think this would count)

I know I plan on bringing a good variety of canned beers to Bonnaroo.
Beer share/tasting is always a good idea.
Also bringing my harder stuff - nothing like getting the day going with O.J. and Vodka, or Grapefruit juice and Vodka, hmmm a pattern is developing. A favorite of mine is wandering the streets of a town with a large water bottle filled with one of the above concoctions.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

i love dales pale ale and old chub haven't had yuengling yet thou
Hell yeah! Old Chub is delicious! Karma for that, sir. I've been meaning to see if I can find cans/bottles of it at my local Total Wine/Beverages since one of my favorite bars took it off tap.
Dan'ROO ... Far be from me to advise to disobey any rules of the Roo. but as has been mentioned else were, throw some bottles to the bottom of the cooler. As long as we maintain our mess I am sure the Karma Gods will shine on us
I am thinking that I will bring terrapin rye pale ale and Highland Gaelic Ale.
is pbr really good, or is it an old traditional beer that people drink because of the tradition? I have drank many many different beers, but have avoided PBR, for the sole reason that I...just dont know, it scares me away BUT I am always willing to sacrifice myself to try a new beer out if you advise that it is good.

let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a bar that sold nothing but microbrews, they saw the error of their ways in regard to the general public and brought in bud miller etc. then raised their prices. then raised them again, now a pint of bud, highland, sierra nevada cost 3.50. and a PBR Tall Boy is 2.00.
In my neighborhood in Brooklyn, it is $1-$2 a can at bars... but I just HATE it... but everybody likes what they like ... for what it's worth, my roommate drinks it constantly when we go out... and it WAS featured in the great cheezy 80's flick Midnight Madness as the end all be all second coming type beer... MJ Fox's debut film... and in the 80's my dad drank it all the time too

Alright so I'm from Pennsylvania but go to school in Indiana (until the end of the semester when I transfer to a school in Pittsburgh) and I had no clue that they didn't have Yuengling out here. I was telling a couple of my friends a story about how I chased a double shot of whiskey with a full glass of yuengling and they all kind of stared at me like I spoke a different language.
I feel like everyone should have at least one good yuengling experience in their lives.

Maybe it was your binge drinking rather than specific chaser that left them dumbfounded. ??? ;D ;D ;D

edit: 2300 only 200 to go till Stanky!
Hey hey hey...I am incredibly proud of the fact that I can drink more then most people my age and yet still not act even half as ridiculous...and that I know my own limitations so I don't end up being the stumbling/falling/throwing up/black out drinker. Haha
