Sanuks was the only shoe I wore at last years Roo. I brought mary-jane style crocs and never even wore them. Sanuks for walking around Roo and crappy old navy $2.50 flops for camp.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

i had no problems with crocs unless some wet gravel got in my shoe then it was annoying. i love not having to worry about puddles all weekend though bc that shit just drips right off. also, you cannot find a lighter shoe.
and keep it ugly, mine were like duck hunting camo LOL super sweet

I wore "well broken in flip-flops" and had some blisters worthy of a medical journal. gonna try the sanuks this year. any model recommendations. some look like theyd be too hot?
^ just the basic slip on, I would mainly use them to walk back and forth to camp, once I got in Centeroo they went in my backpack and I did the barefoot thing, which for prevention of blisters really is the way to go.

OK. It depends on how much walking you plan on doing at the Roo. If you are gonna stay all day at one stage, then I suppose anything will do. I wore ACG Nike's two years ago (All condition gear) and they still are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. No problems at all and they were designed for mud, rain. rocks, heat, and anything else the Roo could come up with.

Man, I acnnot believe all the love for Crocs on here, you guys are paying $30,$40 or even $70 for what is essentially a square foot of colored styrafoam with lots of holes in it, least durable things I've ever seen
I've got pairs of Adidas and New Balance that are over 4 or 5 years old with constant wear and they are fine...buy quality not ......well just not Crocs And you all look ridiculous too..

Just from reading around a bit I heard Crocs are the best despite their uglyness But who will really be looking at feet anyway! It's best to be comfortable.

Just for you guys..... Last night I was wondering around and found a pair of my step-dads Crocs lying around, so after talkin much shizz bout them I decided to try them on and dance around a little.
Not the best dancin shoes in the world, but I will agree that they weren't really uncomfortable, just not my style of poser

I wore my Ozark Rope Sandals until it rained and they made my RV smell like cat wiz. I switched to my Croc flip flops... They are a lot less silly looking and very comfortable!

I'm convinced Sanuks were THE shoe of '08. I remember contemplating going up to a guy wearing blue sanuks and asking if he was an inforooer, haha. I wore crocs for half a day because my sanuks had dried in the sun with mud on them. After giving them a rinse they were back in action.

Dude, WAS he an Inforooer?? Cause someone stopped me and asked me that same question, and I had on blue Sanuks!
And BTW for anyone out there wondering or debating....SANUKS are far and away the best shoe for 'Roo. Not as clunky or just plain ugly as Crocs, cooler than tennis shoes, wont fall off your foot like flip-flops and they offer more protection and comfort than the average Teva. Buy a pair NOW spend a little time breaking them in (though most pairs don't really need it) and you'll be super happy come 'Roo, I promise.

Yeah I really regret not talking to the guy I saw, 'cause I mean, even he wasn't an inforooer...it's bonnaroo. I could have just met another cool random person. The fact that they were blue though really made me wonder since someone (I think it was you?) had posted a link to blue sanuks that were on sale. I was rocking the blue sanuks aswell.
I can't see myself wearing anything but flip flops. Thats all i wear summer spring and fall.
you may not see it now. but if it rains like crazy like in 04 and ther is mud to ur ankles in areas of centeroo ur REALLY gonna want another option than flipflops. i promise.

are crocs really that comfy to walk around in?
yes, except i heard that the black ones get really hot in the sun. so when u put em on it can be kinda ouchy.
also feet get pretty sweaty in crocs with no socks which will form blisters I had that prob. last year.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

Will someone post a link to the style of Sanuks that everyone is talking about? I looked them up but there are all different kinds! I'm really interested in getting a pair if they're really that comfy!!!
^^^^^^^^^ Def. without, and nope...no sweaty foot issues. They are remarkably breathable and your feet don't overheat. And the style linked above is my fav. - comfortable AND durable.

I concur. I have a foot sweating issue and my feet do not sweat in Sanuks. They really are great shoes that breathe very well and I cannot wait to try them out at Roo this year.
I wear a 12.5 and got an original Side Walk Surfer in 12, and they were spot on for me...but I have heard other folks say that certain styles do run a little small.
