Do any of you girls have the Sanuk yoga slings? They look really comfy, I just worry that the fabric might stretch and they'll become really loose from so much walking. Any opinions/reviews would be welcome!

I have a pair of the yoga slings. They are awesome sandals but they might be pretty gross after Bonnaroo. I debated taking them but don't think I will. It's just that the fabric portion of the sling might get really muddy/dusty/gross and I can see it ruining the sandal. I didn't think about the stretching aspect. I don't think I'd be too worried about that.
Got my Sidewalk Surfers and they are just as comfortable as the CarpeDM but a little bit snugger fit. I'm a 10 1/2 and I ordered the 10 but I expect them to stretch out a bit like the CarpeDM's do. I also think they'll be more durable.
I loved my sidewalk surfers (and took them to at least one roo) but they fit really strangely on my feet so they wore out pretty fast. It seemed like the back/bottom where my heel should be had a weird shape.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Sanuk style shoes are great, I am going with Crocs take on Sanuks this year the Santa Cruz loafer. Very comfy, but most importantly, whatever you go with, wear and test them as much as you can before you hit the farm!

So I got my Sanuks a while back, but it had been too cold or rainy to try them out in Chicago until this week.
I wore them all day earlier this week on my nanny gig, running around town, and they were comfortable but not for the long haul. I could feel every pebble and the soles just felt thin to me.
CVS has Dr. Scholl's gel inserts on sale for $10 now. I scooped some up last night and put them in today. I've been up and moving for a few hours and can already feel the difference. With the Sanuks on sale for $25 and these only being $10, I feel good about my deal/comfort ratio. I also think I can throw these inserts in my Toms and alternate while at Roo.

I'm rolling in with some nike running shoes for my first roo. hope i don't regret it they are light weight and they have that mesh like fabric on the toe and the sides of the shoe. so my feet breath. since this is all shoes i have a question what about socks??
Any opinion on Sperry Top Siders? I found a cute pair for my daughter and they look comfy, but I have no experience with sperrys.
Edit: Nevermind, I took the time to do a search and found a few posts in here on Sperrys. Sounds like they're a pretty good shoe once they're worn in.
My opinion (and it is purely and 100% opinion) is that men shouldn't wear them unless they actually belong to a yacht club. For women and girls, whatever, you can make any shoes work and look cute. I don't know why, but Sperry Topsiders are just one of those weird, random triggers that really grind my gears for no legitimate reason other than because they hurt my eyes, when guys wear them anyway.
Probably not the kind of opinion you were looking for, but, well...
I wasn't sure if this deserved its own thread or not.
Vibram, the maker of the Five Finger shoes settled a class action lawsuit in regards to their claim about benefits provided by the shoe. Any person who bought a pair since March 2009 has a right to the claim. Class members have the option to opt in and receive up to $94USD although a more realistic expectation is $20-50.
Nice mention, as I know there are a few Five Fingers owners around here. Skechers also got into some hot water a couple years ago due to unsubstantiated claims about their Shape Ups. I don't know what came of the class action suit, but the gist of it was that they were full of BS and there was no evidence whatsoever that the Shape Ups did anything they claimed.
This is unrelated, but I was a part of a De Beers class action because they conspired to artificially inflate the price of diamonds and diamond jewelry the world over. It took close to ten years to resolve and I think I got a whopping $40 or so last year. Another class action against AT&T got me an awesome coupon for something I didn't need or want since I had long since jumped ship from AT&T.

I feel like socks would get really hot & gross, but I've also never worn socks to any fest so I don't know that from experience or anything.
Anyone wear Toms all weekend? How'd that go? Last year I wore my Sanuks and although I thought I had broken them in pretty well they still gave me blisters. I wore them to All Good like a month later and had no issues though. I was thinking about rotating between my Toms & Sanuks this year....

I have 'em and was honestly sorely disappointed. I thought the actual shoe part was kind of cheap and not at all that comfortable.

Which Sanuks did you get? I wore a pair of Sidewalk Surfers for a day last year (these here ones) and they just weren't enough for me. Comfy for being back at camp, lounging around, but not enough for the trek to and from Pod 1 and around Centeroo. This year I'm trying the Cabrio's. I've been wearing them as much as I can since I got them and I think they're gonna be good. The sole is thicker and more sneaker-like.

I got the Ohm My. They are my first pair of Sanuks, so wasn't aware of how much the soles might vary across styles. Thanks for the tip!

How do you guys wash your sanuks? Do they go through the washer and dryer? Or are there other, better methods. Mine are kind of dusty and muddy and could use a cleaning before Roo

I throw mine in the washer, and put on top of the dryer or outside in the sun to dry. They accidentally got thrown in the dryer once and were fine.
I wish one of these articles would tell me how to get my $20-$50 per pair
That said, they really are perfect for 'Roo! Assuming it doesn't rain (squishy shoes are kinda gross) they're great because they air out well, keep your feet safe, and get funny looks which is always fun
