I also bought a pair of Sanuks because of this post and carpedm01's great review. I LOVE them! I can't say one bad thing about them. They may be the perfect shoe. I am a very very large man 400+ pounds. It is hard for me to find a shoe that is comfortable for me. These shoes are so great. They make me feel like I am walking on a cloud and they are so light.

i learned one thing when i saw sanuks in the store (was tempted but not in the budget) THESE ARE NOT SHOES. THEYRE SANDALS.
you can catch them on sale if you look around. i know i posted a link for a place that runs them on sale.......you will be sure to have some next year.

I brought two pairs of flip flops. My first broke. The second was fine. My feet got a little tired but they never hurt or got blisters. Personally, I think the need for "Roo shoes" is overrated. *shrug*
Carpe is the man and I hope they ARE paying him. Rocked the Sanuks the entire weekend and my feet couldn't have felt better. Will definitely own a pair of these for a long time.

yeah i got to meet the official roo sanuks salesperson at the roo brunch! ...it was funny because i said "hey youre the sanuks guy" and someone thought i said "youre the xanax guy" hahahahah
I've done Tevas, Crocs, Chacos, tennis shoes at BROO and the best shoes hands down are the Sanuks. I'm a restaurant manager and on my feet ALL DAY LONG and my feet always feel pleasant at the end of the day. And they're super-easy to clean!

Hahaha...I remember that. I think it was HereComesTheSun who misunderstood; she was standing right next to us!!
Glad everyone was comfy and that I could help out our little 'Roo community!!

I personally always wear a good lightweight hiking boot made with gore-tex, like Vasques or Merrels. Both of those or lightweight, so it is easy to get around the Roo. Plus in the event that it rains, a good pair of hiking boots will rival a pair of galoshes any day (and you don't have to worry about changing your shoes at any point). And finally if you have a boot made with gore-tex then not only will they be waterproof, they will breathe.
they were real comfy for awhile but walking and dancing in them all day Sat. my feet got all sweaty and then little blisters were starting to form. Had to go to the socks with the crocs for late night and all day Sun. No problems with blisters taree? or anybody who rolled with the crocs this weekend

crocs almost gave me a blister on my right pinky toe because water/mud got caught up in there and started to create friction. other than that if i kept them clean and dry which wasnt to diffucult they were perfect.

i always take three pair of shoes.. for example....i rinsed my sanuks and wore my tevas while they dried. i just think you can get caught in a situation where any shoe might not work ...or you might want a break from a certain shoe!

I used my Sanuks and Crocs all weekend. Crocs were for slipping on at night, excessive mud, and driving and the Sanuks were for everything else. Very happy feet, thanks Inforoo :]

Not really... I mean the Gore-Tex helps prevent that. It lets air in and keeps water out, BUT it also allows water vapor to escape. So sweaty feet dry out really well.

I don't know what it was they were clean, no mud, dry for the most part except sweaty at times. Good thing I had a few different pairs of shoes with me..like Belltwala said you never know when you might need a break from one. Probably should just roll with the Berks as I have always done in the past or Tevas. Not giving up on the crocks though certainly gonna wear 'em here at home and even bring them along to the next fest .

I wore my Sanuks all weekend other than Saturday morning when they were drying form Friday night. I wore my flip flops then, aand I wore sneakers driving to Bonnaroo and leaving.
first I want to say hello, I've been to the fest 3 times and i can't beleive i never found inforoo before! nuts!
anyway this past year I took my old total 90 3 soccer cleats, fucking awsome idea wouldn't have thought of it with munching on some corn while packing either. They came in handy when everyone was worried about the mud, if you saw some guy running around jumping every mud puddle he could find screaming about TRACTION! sat. night, i was that guy.
oh, and i should appologized to the 3 people i accidently stepped on...it was a great story later tho especially since one reaction i got was "who the fuck wears cleats, seriously!"
