Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Having seen Isis for the first time at a Tool concert recently, I have to say - they would be remarkably suited to play Bonnaroo in my opinion. It was a genuinely impressive show - I thought it was amazing.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake
I'm still rooting for Tool They seem to have a strange stereotype that leads people to believe they and/or their fans would not fit in Bonnaroo, but I truly beleive they would be an amazing fit.

While I disagree with part of Trey's assessment, where he says that Tool are "the most psychadelic band going" (I dont think that has been accurate for a few years now)...I do agree that they would make a good headliner for a night at Roo. The highlight of such a set would have to be the peak of Aenima.
I think that after how well Radiohead & the new audience they brought to Bonnaroo turned out...something like Tool is definitly a possibility.

something like Tool is correct, but I highly doubt it will be them. I see them tryin a band like Incubus or something like that. Personally I'd like to see all Jam Bands headline, and have the "psychadelic band" we know as Tool be a late night

I would love to see Incubus there. If you've seen them live you know why
^^^ I'm not tryin to be mean or anything, and to each thier own tastes, but if Incubus headlined, that would be reason enough for me not to attend. And I have seen them live.
ALLMANS, WIDESPREAD PANIC, SCI, MULE, rhythm devils or ratdog, charlie daniels band, csny, rose hill drive, tea leaf green, ymsb, railroad earth, del mccoury, every time i die, definltey wanna see MMJ again support kentucky yehe maybe another dose of GRAB or something

Apparently you haven't seen them in concert.
When you find yourself encompassed in a three-dimensional laser pentacle while plasma monitors depict flashing images of geomancy and one of the worlds greatest drummers is doing a solo that any other pair of drummers couldn't compete with, the term "psychedlic" becomes laughably inadequate. And the highlight of their concert is far from Aenima. Witness them perform 10,000 Days Pt II with a pair of wings created with lasers hanging inches over your head....
Tool is the single most intense, artistic act to witness live and anyone who argues it simply hasn't experienced the event.
That said, Isis would make a fantastic band at Bonnaroo. This band jams like no other, 4 guitarists somehow playing in this harmony that can last 8 - 12 minutes per song....incredible.
tsk...tsk.....tsk.... It kills me that people continue to make comments such as:
"Tool is the single most intense, artistic act to witness live and anyone who argues it simply hasn't experienced the event.
Have we all not learned that terms such as "intense" and "artistic" totally subjective? I am glad they are "the most intense, artistic" to you. But to imply that they should be to everyone is silly. And to go on say if you think they are not, is because you have not seen them, is this side of ridiculous.
I for one have never been a Tool fan and would not attend their show if they were at Bonnaroo. I'm sure many would, and it would be great. But isn't that what makes Bonnaroo go round?
So, bring on Tool!!!! Just try not to talk down to the people who don't think they are so super fantastic.

well said knoxville, well said. i'm kinda in the middle on tool. i really enjoy some of their older stuff, but i haven't really given their new stuff any time yet. if they play roo i'll check them out and if i dig it then thats awesome, and if i don't, oh well there's plenty of other stuff to do.
well id have to say that id be very dissapointed if tool headlined and i seriously dont think i would go if incubus headlined. tool would be a good latenight choice. that way there is other options for non-tool fans. i would probably go to a tool latenight depending on the competition. and incubus. im still on the "they belong at coachella and the mtv music awards. not roo." bandwagon. but hey again if they are a late night there are other shows to go to. but as a headliner incubus would definetly be the final nail in roos coffin for many people. soo tool i can see but probably not as a headliner and i hope incububs stays far away from roo on the pop stations.
not trying to down anyones opinion. just stating mine. im hoping for fri. neil young sat. GRAB sun the dead

YES! he played before The Dead....he was awesome. I was so excited to see The Dead I never gave thought to how good Winwood was...it just made it that much better.
yeah i really wouldnt want to see Tool at bonnaroo, there a good band just they would get more of an audience at another festival, because i love jam bands, and i like heavy bands to so im not just into jam bands

That day/night becomes more legendary every time I think about it.
