My gut feeling on the Interscope thing is TV on the Radio, but I bet Trail of Dead is a big possibility too. Who knows...Superfly might have just booked the entire Interscope roster for all we know!

The Interscope thing doesn't limit the announcement to just one band -- there could be several Interscope bands announced
That is true, and im almost positive there will be atleast 2. I'm not really a big fan of the qotsa at bonnaroo idea.
Really? I find them to be one of the truest straight up Rock N Roll bands around these days. Not one of my favorites, but their live shows are supposed to some of the most intense face-melters imaginable.

I personally rather have eagles of death metal, but if QOTSA werent playing against anyone i wanted to see i'd check them out, and probably end up enjoying it. If i could choose 2 interscope acts itd be feist and tvotr. We'll see what they have for us, probably on the 14th.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Feist is also signed to Interscope and is releasing a new album soon. I would not be surprised in the least if she's on the Roo lineup come Valentine's Day.
I could see Trent (NIN) doing a performance in terms of something they did at the Bridge School Academy or on the Still album for a late night performance.

For the record I think U2 would make an excellent headliner, but it won't be them to be revealed on the Interscope website because they switched to Mercury for their upcoming album, so Interscope shouldn't be promoting any upcoming tours.
HELL YA MAN!!!! i hope that is true..... but i wonder if it is because it dosent have wakarusa listed and hes confirmed to be there the weekend before roo. but im definitely hoping to see 2 weekends in a row. they are rumored to be at spring hookahville too. so i might get 3 spearhead festie shows in 4 weeks!!!! the spearhead site only has shows listed up till early may. but if its true i can think of no better way to wake up at roo then to head out to a mainstage spearhead show!! (atleast i assume it will be mainstage. )
NIN is my favorite band ever, so yeah, but I don't think they'd fit. MAYBE if they do that late night Still-esque set, you speak of. Tv On The Radio would be great.

Really? I've seen both bands a couple times. QOTSA kicks EODM @ss. They're both pretty straight forward rock n roll, but QOTSA is a much better show, IMO.

Interscope bands I wouldn't mind at the 'roo.
Beck (last year's set was amazing) Brand New Feist Jimmy Eat World (my 5th favorite band) Jurassic 5 (even though i've seen 'em like 5x, never purposely) Loretta Lynn NIN QOTSA (great live show, saw them in '03) t.A.T.u (yes, a guilty pleasure of mine) TVOTR The Wallflowers Yeah Yeah Yeahs (although, not really a roo type band... i think a splitup late night ala dresden dolls, would be a good spot for them... seen them twice, always a FUN show!)
