I'm not particularly into the "vibes" thing, and I'm by no means the world's greatest optimist, but the harder we think and concentrate our power on this issue, I feel we will be rewarded. I feel it. It's close. And I know other people have their issues with the line-up this year, and I personally love the line-up, but this single addition would make this one of my top Bonnaroos ever.

I am pretty new to loving them. I had tried to get into them a year ago and just couldn't. Then I heard their new CD The Bedlam in Goliath and I got hooked. After getting into that I found it easier to get into their older stuff so maybe that is a good CD for a newbie to start with. Just my imo but it worked for me

you're prolly right...oh yeah did i mention that i hate money!!! im lookin' at 250 for the roo. maybe 250 for rothbury and now a celebration date (4/20) with tmv, possibly 50 bucks. thats nearin' 600 bananas for shows within' the next month. holy balls.
The Mars Volta is included in the lineup for the brand new Rothbury Festival in Michigan, over the 4th of July weekend. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
^^ They were there and then taken down. I assume it is the same deal. Contracts, shows selling out and what nots. They were there though.
Thank you. I went back to check and freaked out because I didn't see them there! Then I felt terrible because I convinced myself that I never saw them on the list in the first place, and was lying to all of you great people. I could never come back from that if that was the case.
so I think that means we are most likely getting TMV, if they were on that festie list, then taken down. I think they are waiting for something, possibly until they officially announce more shows?

I would not be suprised to see a mosh pit at TMV if they got added. I know in 05' i would've started one if i were in a crowd, the amount i was jumping around.
