^yeah, can't say there's any band I'd rather see live. I've still never seen em, and it's KILLING me that it's takin them this long to announce/make plans for a nationwide tour/Bonnaroo appearance.
i ahve a bootleg electric ballroom dvd, cuz i don't think they made dvd's for it. i think it was only vhs
The DVD i have of Electric Ballroom seems ligit, or in other words, not a bootleg. It's licensed, and came with packaging, as pictured in my last post of this thread on page 1. Try EbAy?

oh great lords of superfly i beeseech thou to take pity on your humble servants and add one mars volta to the bonnaroo liscene, i offer my pride as a sacrifice to you; please accept it and bless my festival experience this year with luck and kindness
I'd definately consider not going if TMV doesn't add, but I think ultimately I will go none the less. I mean, I can't pass up Tool, Tortoise, Police, and Flaming Lips just cuz one band didn't make the lineup.
i cant believe so many people love tmv on this board. (myself included) im guessing that their 2005 show really musta rocked hard. THEY MUST BE ADDED! they will right? someone tell me they will....

If they are added or not, I am seeing at least one show, so to me they would be a bonus. I still really really want them there, because there is really no better atmosphere to see a show than Bonnaroo.
If they are anywhere within a 4-6 hour radius of me though, I will be seeing them multiple times.

^Now that I live in Atlanta, I hope i'll still have decent chance to see them even if (GOD FORBID) they don't get added to Roo this year. But DAMN, I'd rather see them in Manchester again than anywhere else. It just seems so undeniably perfect that I will honestly cry, at least for a little while, if........

Mars Volta please be added. Thank you.
Oh and when I saw them open up for SOAD, that show was pretty good. Although, I really wish my legs weren't so dead tired trying to stand up for TMV at the roo in '05. I left their set early and went back to camp. I regret it ever since.

My reaction will be close, but not quite so hysterical. On the other hand, let me open my ticket envelope when it comes in, and see a golden ticket...
Then you would see your above posted reaction times about 50.

Last nights setlist folks:
Rapid Fire Toll Booth (not new, but still unreleased) Roulette Dares Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus Viscera Eyes Idle Tooth (new song) Drunkship of Lanterns Vermicide Tetragrammaton Cicatriz ESP Meccamputechture Day of the Baphomets
Show ran about 2 hours and 10 minutes. Looks like one hell of a solid setlist. I can not f#cking wait till they announce a full tour of the States! It has been too long.
