what do you all think?????
I'm with you on that one. El-P should be interesting. The rest of them I have little experience with.
Roo always turns me on to at least 1 new band. Anything is obviously welcome.
This was definitely not the bombshell most of us were hoping for.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
Sharing in the roo, thanks for the link and all, but I coulda gone without the:
"Google Muthaf*cka"
And just for the record, when someone asks for a link for general info on a music board, one would assume that there's bound to be a fan of a certain band, maybe they have a particularly good link that would otherwise take hours to find on google. try to be less of an asshole, please?
BTW, if you haven't listened to Ornette Coleman, well we've got our JAZZ ARTIST!!! Check it out.
I just looked him up and I am very excited now. He's pretty high on the bill too (above bob weir, mule, the decemberists), so I guess that he kind of counts as a big name. I'm also excited to see the klezmer band. I take back what I said about the lameness of this addition a few minutes ago.

I'll admit, I'm a bit disappointed, nothing I expected, and it did suck to wait this long for an announcement such as this. However, Coleman and Bromberg are big adds; perhaps not for many of us personally, but they are pretty legedary musicians. Bromberg alone was enough to push my father over the edge, I think he's ordering his ticket now. This addition would have seemed a lot stronger had it come a month ago.
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
i too am not familiar with any of them, not disappointed just not excited either yet. i'm wondering if we're even going to get any more big names added if this is the first -real- addition (excluding artists in the original leak who were re-announced) and ticket sales are rumored to be as good as they are...
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
