Langerado looks good, but '07 was my first 'Roo and I will be going back to 'Roo. Maybe Langerado and 'Roo next year, but 'Roo will be set on my schedule every year, for 16 years.... 20 years, i don't care. I don't see all the fuss about the people who attend these festivals.... the ticket price is enormous for most! Lots of working class people will go, not scoundrels! I heard about 'Roo way before I could afford it, way before I was out of college, way before I had EXPENDABLE income people!

chk chk chk yeah! Every morning when I am suppose to be in bed, I am on inforoo!!! (I just joined community this morning)I have read all the pages, and most likely will continue as they update. I need to know what this late night thing is all about... '07 was my first 'Roo and I must've have been sleeping. Help, ladytron is latenight, what else is so I can be there the first night waiting with anticipation for this latenight dance shizz I keep hearing repeated???
(also, how do you do all the pictures and signatures stuff?)

latenight is just what it sounds like. Awesome bands and electronica to dance your butt off to till dawn. last year STS9 and Sasha & John digweed boogied til sunrise.
as for posting pics in the sig. just upload onto photobucket and use the IMG code in the sig space.

i'll be a first time rooer this yr but i'm super stoked about late night. i hear it's roo at it's finest. as far as the line up, i was shocked at first but i've 180'd. life, in general, is all about what you make it, right? good ole bonnie with still be rad no matter what. now just counting down the days till us groovers can shake our happy asses till the cows come home! woo hoo roo

I am brand new to this site so i dont know if this has been said but this lineup is actually really awesome. Not only does it have some of my favorite acts ever but it has Pearl jam who for someone that has been a fan since "Ten" came out ( iwas in Jr high) and has NEVER seen them live I am pumped. Imagine seeing Pearl Jam, BB King, and maybe a DSO late night show all on the same day. Or how about the amazing singer songwriters they are having. Mason J, Frankenreiter, Iron and Wine, Jose gonzalez, and of course jack johnson. how sick is that?!?!?
also, on the news page there is an item announcing they are playing Bonnaroo... and it's dated the 2nd! A full three days before the lineup broke! Man, if no one around here caught that, it means we're losing our touch...

ooohh i'm seeing new pornographers in april...they're doing a pretty big tour for the spring with okkervil river but i'm not sure what they have going on this summer...

Yeah I saw Neko by herself last year at Calgary Folk Fest and thought she was awesome. Did a wicked cover of Buckets of Rain. She jammed with the Sadies the next day.
I think one of my favorite things about Bonnaroo is checking out bands that I would probably never go to if they were just playing individually. It's is like the ultimate music buffet. Possibley seeing Metallica, Kanye West, Willie Nelson, Jack Johnson, and B.B. King on the same day---how amazing is that? I am not sure if I will make it to Bonnaroo, but if I do I will feel lucky that there is such a crazy lineup.
Some of them you can download, some are just for listening, but dig around and you can find sets and interviews from M.I.A., My Morning Jacket, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, !!!, Battles, Vampire Weekend, etc.
Plus it's a really great independent radio station.

I saw Battles recently and they were outstanding. The power went out in the middle of their set and Stanier just kept playing in the dark. MTB, Ghostland, Grupo Fantasma.......good times. I am patiently awaiting the addition of some late night electronica......
I think they'll put Kanye as Friday's headliner, Pearl Jam Saturday, and Metallica on Sunday (seeing as so many people don't want to see them). That way, Lupe and Talib could guest with Kanye and then go do a late night hip-hop show. I think Jack will be a pre-headliner
How about Metallica Friday (that way i can go se a cool late night and get a good spot) Pearl Jam Saturday (hopefully the late night sat. wont be too great) and Phil Lesh closing it on Sunday?
