^^With that and The Faces doing the same thing it's going to be a big year for me.
I would love to see The Kinks there.
Faces and Kinks would be amazing. Both bands have stated they are both going back into the studio before they tour so some new music may be an incentive to play for a young, and VERY WEALTHY crowd like Bonnaroo. (whether hippies or hipsters want to admit it, they carry some serious buck in their names.)
I hear alot about RATM, is this possible? I thought they broke up? I would love to goto that show, they are so energetic I'd go nuts, I would want it like sort of late, but not too late.

RATM are sorta back together. They played Lolla last year along with a few other shows. They just get together whenever they want while still pursuing their individual careers. I think now that the election is over we will be seeing less of them.
I def. think Dave will be back this year, as its been since '05, and my vote is for Rage Against the Machine who I have a good feeling about showing up this year. And as for taking Chris Rocks spot this year, I'm hoping for some Cheech and Chong, hhaha, I think they'd fit in well to the Roo crowd. BONNAAROOOOOOOO
given the rollingstone article i figure that phish or bruce or both will be headlining which is completely fine by me. still as ive posted numerous numerous times i am holding out on phish headlining one night and doing a late night the other so we can have the The Dead on sunday.
2002- Phil lesh and friends 2003- The Dead 2004- The Dead 2005- Bob Weir and Ratdog 2006- Phil Lesh and Friends 2007- Bob Weir and Ratdog 2008- Phil Lesh and Friends and Dark Star Orchestra
all i'm saying is it wouldnt be Bonnaroo without someone in one form or another playing dead. and if warren haynes is more than likely going to be there with the allman brothers or gov't mule.... lets just get The Dead with Warren for sunday. i mean everyone says two nights of phish would be stellar... but i'd rather go to the festival with both Phish and Dead rather than just Phish and Phish.
Rolling Stone has an article out now about Phish headlining the first two nights and Bruce Springsteen closing the show on Sunday. ...but one can only dream <3 If not, I do wish Dave would come back... the first time I saw him was at Bonnaroo '05 and it was freaking amazing
