im not too sure. my sister and i both became u of m fans. i grew up in e lansing and got sick of all of the spartan fans so i went blue. although my dad and my sons mother have made him into a bucks fan. its hard to have your son calling you everytime osu farts against michigan to brag about it. but it brings bag good memories of sports talks i had with my dad. my son and i are all ready having the "lebrons better then jordan" just like i used to say jordan was better then bird. oh well its all in good fun anyways. i just like talking. in the end im way more excited about whos headlining roo then i am who wins the title. atleast i wont have to worry about my pistons playing during roo. small chance of that.

So Michigan's second stringers aren't as good as Ball State's first stringers? Hahahaha.
Florida has played their second stringers in several non-conference games that were very similar to the talent level of Ball States, yet they won easily.
You big 10 homers never cease to amaze me.
I would rather have that Ball St. win on my resume than Florida's SC win - all things considered.

Don't mean to be harsh, just enough is enough. I never rubbed the big win in anyones face so it has been really hard listening to all the crying for a month now.
Maybe if we didn't have to wait SIX GOD DAMN WEEKS in between games this wouldn't be so bad!
we just got embarrassed. henne and carr cant win big games. our defens sucked against the pass. the bucks deserve it. we still should have played them. but oh well. i think the big 10 is crazy for having so much time off before the bowl games. usc didnt have nearly as big of a layoff as we did. not an excuse. but something they should change. carr and henne cant win big games. they both need to go. if either of them is back i wont be a fan for a year. we need to get saban.

You still think UM should play in the NC game. You blame the 'layoff' for you losing. You blame your QB.

Wow, you are a douchebag.
well the game today dosent change what went down weeks ago. at that time they were clearly the second best team in the country. i didnt blame the layoff i said its something the big ten should look into changing. its crazy to stop playing 2 weeks earlier then the teams we have to play in the bowl games. henne has sucked since he got to michigan. there are 2 things that matter at michigan. championships and beating ohio state. and a distant third thing is winning bowl games. henne cant do any of that and neither can carr. hennes throwing consecutive passes behhind the line of scrimmage to double covered recievers for losses. followed by a pass 7 yards short of the 1st down on 4th down to a guy whos covered. and punting with 5:30 to go down by 21 is unbelieveable and inexcusable. carr should be fired tommorow. offer saban whatever it takes to get him to michigan.
so i stand by my statements
youve made nothing but moronic posts since ya got here.why are you unable to have a conversation with out witty name calling like "douchebag" ?? i guess the 86 has something to do with that. oh well atleast people like you generally are only into roo due to their "diverese" lineup. at least theres less of you at smaller fests. but i guess even immature custies serve their purpose.
man. get rid of carr and get whoever is calling plays at boise state. not only was it one of the best games i have ever seen it was some of the greatest play calling i have ever seen. and they executed them perfectly. it was beautiful. what a game. boise states running beautiful and genius plays for 2 pt. conversions down by 1 in overtime and michigans punting down by 21 with 5 to go. im glad i watched this game. holy crap.
The boise State game was the best football game I have seen in a long while. Yea, whoever was calling those plays has brass ones the size of.........Idaho!!!

It doesn't matter what plays you call (DeBord calls them anyway, not Carr) if you can't keep the other team's defense out of your backfield. I was very disappointed in the O-line and of course the defensive backfield. That will definitely be an issue next year with Trent being the #1 corner....unless Ronald Johnson signs with Michigan as expected and can pull of some Charles Woodson type shit as a freshman next year.
that did not look like the offense that was putting up points on the buckeyes/everyone else, and they were def not the team that lost to ucla. maybe their D just lived up to the hype though.
i am serious. i wont root against michigan. but i wont watch and root for em. no matter how bad the o line or our secondary played henne is still a habitual big game loser. and so is carr. and i was willing to deal with having carr back until they punted down by 21 with 5 to go. thats completely and totally out of this world retarded sh it. thats giving up. trying to save face so you dont lose by 40 and get fired. id fire him to day . seriously. thats some sorry sh it. its so bad that i am 100 percent serious about not watching next year. i will just be a nd fan for the year (i was born 10 minutes from south bend and they are my 2nd fav) if anyone can explain to me how henne or carr can keep there jobs ill be glad to hear it. but they is no way to justify it. chamionships and beating the bucks matters. and they cant do it. and please do your best to explain the punting with 5 to go down by im looking for even the tiniest bit of reason behind thatt

but your right. carr isnt goin anywhere and there is no way henne is going to go pro after such a dissapointin college career. i dont see him going until the 3rd or 4th round if he goes. but staying another year and losing to osu in ann arbor for the 4th time will probably cost him the most embarassing final homegame for a senior qb. he will be booed off the field and finally we will never have to see hi again. because i dont see any future for him in the nfl. with my luck the lions will take him and he will torment me forever. speaking of that how stupid are the lions. giving up the number 1 pick for nothing. friggin morons. they will probably take troy smith and i wont have a pro team or a college team.
WE NEED SABAN!!!!!!!! FIRE CARR AND PAY SABAN WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!!!!!
i for sure am. i know your a fan death. what do you think about being unable to beat the bucks or win a bowl game. and how about that punt? i cant, as a fan, watch such incredibly horrible play and be ok with it. i dont wanna blame it all on henne. but he just isnt a winner. not in the big games. he cant get it done. granted hart didnt do anything. the defense was horrid. the oline sucked. but carr and henne are worthless. hennes been an over acheiver since he got there ive always thought that he was playing the best he possibly could and it just isnt that good. when you have to play as good a game as you can to win it cant happen everytime and it shows against good teams. i have always thought he was an interim qb not a starter on a championship team. and i will never forgive that punt.

more than likely not. but its giving up. to me that would have been like boise state taking a knee and running out the clock after ou got that interception for a td. its just not something you do. stranger things have happend. so they might have lost anyways. but they were sure to lose by punting. can anyone offer me a good reason to punt in that situation. other then conceding defeat. its not like our defense was getting 3 and outs and we could get some field position out of it. there wasnt time for that even if we could have done that.

I have no problem with punting when you're on your own 30, down 21, with 5 minutes to go. The game was over.
No, Michigan hasn't won vs OSU or in a bowl game with Henne at qb, but he's one of the last people that should be blamed. In those 6 games his #'s are 138-243, 1624 yards, 14 td's, 4 int's or an average of 23-40, 270, 2.3, .67 per game. I know, I know. Numbers aren't everything, but how in the world do you blame him for the losses when he made barely any mistakes and was incredibly productive? If you're just going to say it's the QB's responsibility to win, I'd ask you to use your head rather than just spouting cliches.
Michigan lost to the best team in the country at their place, and (arguably) the second best team in the country, essentially in their backyard. Coming off a 7-5 season they won 11 games including a blowout at then #2 ND and handed Wisconsin their only loss. You can cry about the season if you want...and trust me, you aren't alone....but I refuse to.
Have fun rooting for Notre Dame next year. I hope you're watching when Jimmy Clausen gets his head knocked off on 9/15 in Ann Arbor.
well i guess there are 2 types of fans. those that are happy with the bottom line. and the bottom line for u of m is finiishing in the top 10. thats rock bottom. if you dont do that at michigan your a complete faliure. so thats just the baseline. if your happy with that then more power to you. but im one of the fans that demands we beat osu. demands big ten championships. demands bowl wins. and demands national titles. im sick of them doing the bare minimum for them to get by and calling it good enough because of numbers or stats. screw numbers and stats. win championships and beat the bucks or go home. carr is our cooper. he does the minimum to keep his job and they let him get away with it. but coopers time came to an end and so should carrs. and they might beat nd next year. but who gives a rats ass about that if they lose to osu 4 times in a row, in ann arbor, and flush yet another championship team donwn the toilet. i respect your opinion and your support for the team but i just cant. its that bad. and the game wasnt over. oklahoma scored 2 touchdowns and a 2 pt. in less then 30 seconds. crazy things happen all the time. especially with as much talent on the field as michigan has. youve got nothing to lose and 5 minutes is an eternity. we just have a differnt view of the game i guess. and where the bar for success is at michigan. and as for henne you can throw up any numbers ya want but the only ones that anyones gonna remmeber and the nfl scouts are gonna look at are that he lost every big game he ever played in.

Yeah, Hart runs for under 50 yards the first two times he plays OSU and it's Henne's fault they lose. Hart runs for 40 something yards vs usc, and it's Henne's fault they lose.
Michigan has as many national championships as every team but one (usc).
They had the 2nd best winning percentage (OSU first).
They won or shared 5 Big 10 Titles.
They went .500 vs OSU.
What exactly are your standards??
percentages and stats.... blah blah blah. my standards are clear. dont lose 3 in a row to ohio state. dont lose yoour bowl games. dont get embarassed in the rose bowl by a team that just lost to ucla. dont give up with 5 minutes left to play. win big ten championships. win national titles. god forbid we lose 4 in a row to the bucks. atleast hennes gone for sure after next year. and if they dont beat the bucks carr will be out of there too. it wont happen this year like i want. but it will if they lose next year.

and lets divide thos 10 years up into 2 groups of 5. how have the last 5 years been?? not too hot. and the henne years are dowright horrible. oh well like i said we just dont see it the same way.
second to usc dosent cut it. second to osu certainly dosent cut it. but hey if your happy with that its cool. but im not.
i just hope carr dosent do to our football program what steve fisher did to our basketball program.

i doubt that there are very few if any people out there that know anything about football whou dont think that carr was just flat out coached. we were a superior team by allmost everyones standards. we had something to prove. usc picked us apart. they adjusted their game to us and picked us apart. they used their time off to beat us. i dont know what carr was doing. our o-line was confused by all of the blitzes. the defense certainly couldnt habdle the passing game. what ellse did we have to prepare for? he certainly wasnt too busy out there lobbying to be in the big game like floridas coach was. im not suire what he was doing. id give a nut to have a coaching staff capanble of formualting a plan rather then just letting things happen and then going out with the same plan youve executed all year. just because it got ya by.
