dudewheresmydefense does not know what the definition of common sense is. You want to fire your coach who just went 11-2. You want to fire the same coach who brought UM a NC. You also want to blame the QB who played good enough to win. You also think that UM still deserves a second chance after they lost to USC.
And to top it all of you think that a win over Ball State is better than a win over South Carolina.
HA
You should attack my age some more that worked really well.
Not sure what the 'diverse' artists thing is all about. I'll just put that in the dudewheresmycommonsense category.

yes. but ive made it clear that its not just this season. the past matters. 11-2 but the 2 is a 3rd loss in a row to the bucks. and another embarassing bowl loss to a team we should have easily beat when we had everything to prove. they lost to ucla for christs sake. and it was half a championship and how could you not win it it with the talent he had. he did his best to screw it up. they almost ruined it and should have lost to the bucks in ann arbor. they got lucky. ill take it but to say that loyd car should keep his job from that 9 years ago dosent make sense. and mediocre season after mediocre season of losing only our last 2 games isnt going to fly. the bucks and bowls are all that matters. win those 2 and titles will flow freely.

dudewheresmyroo just wants something to bitch about......pretty easy to figure it out......whether it's Michigan not being in the NC game, Henne and Carr should be fired, custies, bonnaroo being too diversified because it was a jamband festival, etc............enough said.........can we please try and keep this board a litter lighter and more positive?
im just relaying my thoughts on uofm. seems to me your the one bitching about nothing.
btw..... did you see the name of the thread???????????? if you cant stay on topic and talk about footbal then take it to your on thread where you make random complaints about others opinions. there are plenty of "lighter and happier" threads on here with out complaining. try a thread that isnt titled "My 3 Complaints" if thats what your searching for . im entitled to my opinion. i havent said anyone else is wrong. i just state my opinion and the reasons for it.. everyoneesle takes it to "your a whiney bitch" or "your wrong and your an ididot." ive been wnating to get rid of carr and henne for years. somepeople just cant handle someone pointing out flaws oe errors. the world isnt perfect. if you dont voice your opinion about whats wrong then you will just sit there with your head in the sand while the world changes and passes you by. but hey if that hole in the sand keeps a smile on your face then more power to ya.

lol i hear that. and to reverse the situation i like amacker. and i thinks hes gonna get fired. but comeone hes building a team back up from scratch. msu was getting all of the recruits with michigan on probation. and hes done a pretty good job with what hes had. that program was dead and hes bringing it back. but your right. there is little hope of any big tournament run. march madness is still one of my favorite times of the year even if my team isnt competeing. nothing better then watching some team without a single player i know taking a powerhouse to the wire.
ya they suck. even though it was an ultra emotionally charged home game for lsu (whys that allowed?? you shouldnt be allowed to play a bowl game in your own state) the irish just got whipped. i hope the raiders pass on quinn and detroit picks him up. millen is probably gun shy to use a second pick on a qb though.
i said that they just got whipped. but if you think lsu playing in the first sugar bowl back at the superdome since katrina isnt a huge deal your just not very bright. shit everything the coach said was motivation to win for louisiana and all the katrina effected people. it was a huge deal. i dont htink its fair. i didnt say the crowd played d or scored points. but its far from fair imo. and something they should look at changing. you seem to have a case of selective reading. i recommend hitting yourself in the head with a hammer 420 times. let me know if that clears it up.
i actually said they just got whipped. but your disease has prevented you from comprehending. we should go to roo together. id love to get into those primo handicapped spots.
ND was only in that game because of money (because of their national appeal).........would have been nice to see an evenly matched Sugar Bowl as well as several other bowls but money is a big factor when corporate sponsors are involved. Maybe this will open up a few more eyes that ND's benefit of the doubt, special consideration, and padded nonconference schedules each and every year might not be such a good thing. I can't stand turning on NBC on a saturday afternoon with some big games and seeing a ND vs. scrub team. 9 bowl losses in a row says alot.
while i do agree somewhat. they did only lose to the no. 2 and 3 teams in the country. atleast the way i see it. but most of the decisions in the bcs are motivated by national tv ratings. like not having 2 teams from one conference that are 100 miles apart from eachother play the title game even if they are the top 2 teams at the time. but nd does play a weak schedule outside of a couple of tough games. and it shows in the bowls. for sure.

I was pulling for ND in the first half just because I wanted to see a good game! Somewhat off the subject, I can't believe they're giving Saban $35MM to coach at Alabama. It seems like only yesterday it was a big deal when Spurrier got that $1MM/year deal when at Florida (wasn't he the first to make over a million a year?).........inflation isn't increasing that fast!

It is pathetic that essentially all ND has to do to make a BCS bowl is lose few than 4 games. Maybe the BCS bowls will pass them by after this latest fiasco, but I doubt it.
they lost to michigan and usc. arguably number 2 and 3 in the country. and then lost to number 4 in the bowl game. even though they lost pretty bad in all of those games id still say its better then losing to oregon state and ucla. maybe its happened in the past but id say the irish earned the bowl spot this year.
lol.... im not losing it. im stating that only losing 2 games to 2 of the top teams in the nation shouldnt keep you out of a bcs game when a team that had the same number of losses to lesser teams (both barely in the top 25) was ranked higher and in a bigger bcs game. and that maybe it wasnt the favortism your suggesting. thats hardly "losing it"

There's a couple pretty good reasons that USC is ranked higher than ND and went to a pretty good bowl, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you can figure them out yourself.
Even if those losses shouldn't keep ND out, what should put them in? Wins against Georgia Tech and Penn St?
in no way to i want to imply that nd is better then usc. or deserved to be ranked higher. but i dont think it was a stretch for the irish to be in that game. personally i would have liked to have seen wisconsin there. but of the rest of the teams the irish could atleast be considered as goood as them and they only lost to 2 of the top teams in the country. and they had a heisman candidate senior qb. i expected them to compete. maybe just being notre dame helped. im not gonna say that the numbers werent crunched and they decided the massive irish tv viewing audience is what they wanted. but i think they had a good season and deserved to be there. they do need to toughen their schedule. who cares about army navy etc... those are rivalires from 40 years ago. they should have joined the big ten when they had the chance.
