Good thought with the Jacob channeling thing. Definitely a possibility.
I'll choose Jack over Locke any day. Seems like most people like one or the other, but rarely both. I guess I'm more of a "man of science" than a "man of faith."
Mr. Abaddon, yeah, he's a mysterious one.... he pops up randomly. We've seen him three times now, I think? With Locke, with Hurley (in the mental hospital) and he's the one that arranged the "scientific" team on the freighter.
I think the idea of Jacob channeling people on the island makes sense. It would explain all of the "sightings" of dead people throughout the show. I just wonder what Jacob would want with Claire.
Abbadon is definitely a major player, but to what extent I have no idea. I need to see him on the island or something. Richard is much more intriguing to me cause we've seen him all over the place. With the old Dharma Initiative, The Others and so on. I'm still wondering when we're gonna get to see where The Others went. Richard is with them.
I thought the funniest part of this episode was Locke telling Hurley that The Dharma Initiative are the people, "that make all that ranch dressing you like so much."
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
Thank god they're back. I want more of Richard and The Others.
Also, is anyone else having a love affair with Hurley and Sawyer and their love affair. It's sweet [/quote]
I think season five is going to reveal more about Dharma and the Others. At least that's the talk on the Lostpedia.
I'm just glad to see that Sawyer is finally growing a conscience and learning how to care about others. I think it's a big reason on why he wants to stay on the island, because if he came back to the real world, he would become jaded all over again.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I'm beginning to really think that the dude in the coffin, in last season's finale was Sawyer. It's starting to make alot of sense.
You think? I'm thinking it's Michael. No one really likes him, and since he's been using a different name, his family wouldn't know it was him that died. So that's why no one showed up to the funeral. Unless Sawyer has just done something terrible to make the O6 not want to come to his funeral, I'm not so sure it could be him....

Yeah I guess you're right, it probably is Michael. It just seems like Walt or someone from Michael's family would come, even though Walt did hate him in the flashback. Not going to your own father's funeral is pretty f*cked up. And I don't know why he would be getting buried in LA unless Jack arranged the funeral.
ya but don't u think they were talking about sawyer the episode where Jack though Kate was cheating on him... 2 weeks ago?!
I don't know what to think. Sawyer wasn't one of the 6, so I assume he died on the island or whatever happens to the rest of em. That Kate flash forward was obviously before Jack's mental decline. So I think the one with the mysterious coffin is after that flash forward.
I think if it had been Sawyer's funeral, Kate (being a girl) would still go. We females tend to hold emotional attachments to all guys we've had feelings for at some point in time. The Flashforwards are definitely working their way back from last season's finale.
I think whoever is in the coffin scared Jack enough that he realized they need to go back. Maybe it's like a sign that something has gone wrong with the island.... like Widemore or his folks have found it and killed some of the other survivors?

That's a good point. I never really thought of it like that.

orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the fact that whoever is in the coffin is dead, so that is almost a warning or a sign in a way - telling jack that they need to go back...like a purposeful sign
^^ right, like they had all decided beforehand if such-and-such shows up dead, then that means that something has gone horribly wrong. I think it's a possibility....
