sooo uhh, i recently watch s1-s4 on netflix...within like 2-3 weeks...anyone know where i can watch s5 online so im 100% up to speed....and so i can get my fix? id like to watch it before i read through here.
On Hulu they only have the five most recent episodes from season 5. But if you are LOST crazy like myself a good way would be to read the summaries of the first few episodes on lostpedia up to Dead is Dead which is the first episode of season 5 streaming.

I'm trying not to read any spoilers, though after season 5 is released and I re-watch it, I'll probably want to devour everything LOST I can get my hands on.
But I did read yesterday that Katy Segal will be back. I'm in love with her.... and it helps that she's Locke's love interest since he's my man.

Off topic, but have any LOST fans watched "Flash Forward" yet? I missed the one on Sept. 30 but I've seen the others. I can't say I'm hooked but I'm at least intrigued by what's been introduced so far. I'm going to need a LOST replacement next year... maybe this could be it?
Yeah. I've watched it. Missed a scene here and there, but definately intrigued. It doesnt seem to have the depth of LOST but seems to have strong acting and storytelling. Hopefully when Dominic joins the cast it will hit high gear.

I am completely into Flash Forward now. The show is a few episodes in now and it is really starting to get crazy. I often find myself collecting my thoughts during a commercial break and thinking out loud "WTF". The thing that I am most curious about is how they plan on making a multiple season series out of it.
I have all the Flash forwards saved on my DVR but haven't had a chance to watch them yet. Maybe I can catch up when all the other shows go into hiatus.
I am so ready for LOST! There will be a two week hiatus in February for the Olympics.
I just hope they pick up the whole Claire storyline because I really miss that little Aussie.
Is there a premiere date for the new season yet? I miss LOST so much. And I thought the Olympics were on NBC? Will they be invading ABC, too?
As for Flash Forward, I've watched it but I can't seem to get in to it so much. I feel like they spend half the episode going over the things that have happened. I need more new info!

Flash forward, imo, is pretty weak so far. Joseph Fiennes, while great in a lot of movies, is awful in this series. His facial expressions alone make me cringe. I'll keep watching it because there's not much else on TV.

I am not so sure about V yet. It is moving a lot faster than I thought it would. After last weeks episode, I think it is safe to that Flash Forward is about to be kicked into high gear. That episode was epic.
I do agree with you about the upcoming Lost season though. With it being the final season, we can all agree that all the producers/writters will pull out all the stops..
When the season 5 DVDs are released in early December, I will start my LOST rewatch program, starting with the first season. I should finish about the time season 6 begins. I've missed the speculating and the WTF moments we had every Wednesday night....

Ha! That's exactly what I did when I watched the first episode. My boyfriend and our friend were obsessed and I didn't want to give in because it took him forever to give Big Love a chance. I ended up watching half of the S5 episodes on some bunk website and thankfully, found the others on ABC.com.
I've read that Maggie Grace (Shannon ) has been asked to come back but hasn't signed on yet. Now, I don't like Shannon nor do I miss her character (I liked her for maybe five minutes before Ana-Lucia offed her) but I would like to see her story in S6.

I love Katy Segal too. I kind of cheered when I watched the first episode she was in, when I was here by myself. I was glad that at least someone was good to Locke in his life though! I don't want the real Locke to be dead. I honestly wanted him to be The Chosen One. Well, him or Sayid but I think I'm gonna lose with both of those.

the chosen one is aaron. ithink thats his name. claire son. he was born ON the island and survived in that girls stomach through a plane crash. there is something special about him.
I'm still torn on the idea of the Chosen One. I wanted it to be Locke sooo bad (and still do) but I'm starting to get the feeling there's no such thing. Maybe the writers are using it as a smoke screen for something even bigger/more important... maybe they want us to discuss and stress over who the Chosen One really is while something else is brewing. This whole Jacob/Esau concept is definitely big... and how Locke plays in to that, dead or not, I think will also be big.
Oh, and I read on Facebook they aren't ready to announce a premiere date yet. C'mon Damon and Carlton... I'm dyin here!
