LOST

hmm some scattered thought for this....think about it, a plane crashes on an island that is constantly changing in time/space. is it possible that the end of humanity is happening more than once, and it is the people on the island that are changing destiny? i mean, thats why everyone would be on the island. they all play a role in keeping life on earth? maybe "forces" around the island/ the island itself is always doing crazy things. like locke walks/comes back to life when on the island. is it possible theses "forces" change things through out time in space. simply to keep people alive per-say? like jacob knows everything/possibly IS the island per-say and knows exactly what to do and how to do it to keep earth where it is? and everyone else is really just pawns/ small potatoes per-say

It's just the day of announcements! Season 6 of LOST will premiere Feb. 2, which is a Tuesday. But it's 3 hours!!!

Man that seems like an eternity from now. too much time for speculation.

That means I have two months to figure out how to get ABC to come in on my TV. Or cave and get cable again.

The finale is the best two hours of television i've ever seen.

The spoilers for this season are so nuts tho. For instance I'll just give you one sentence that demonstrates what most of these spoilers are like. I really still dont know what the hell is going on.

Presumably in the alt timeline created by jughead. It's gonna get wild.

There can't be an alt timeline. I refuse to believe it.

The thing is if there's an alt timeline, wouldn't that mean that season 6 would just be a what if? That would just be incredibly boring and unsatisfying. And that means the Jacob, Ben, "Locke" storyline wouldn't be explained. That would suck.

I'm expecting my set from blockbuster any day now. I haven't seen yet, so I'm really excited!!

My roomie went out yesterday specifically to buy season 5. I refuse to watch it until I have watched the other 4 seasons first, in order. I'm way behind... I haven't even started! Perhaps I should do that today.

^It's possible. But I thought that Vincent not coming until Locke blew the whistle was to show off his wilderness know-how (I guess that's not really a wilderness skill but it was one of the first hints that we got that Jon Locke was going to be quite capable in that environment) and Walt looking up to him instead of Micheal, who was not being a great dad at the time.

I've been wrong many times with LOST, though so who knows? I love Vincent so I wouldn't mind this at all, actually. All my theories are biased anyway. I still refuse to believe that the Real Jon Locke is gone. And I always make Sayid have a bigger part in all of this than anyone else I've ever talked to thinks he has.




We're re-watching Season 5. I think it was "316" that we watched last night. I thought it was hilarious that no one asked Ben why his face was all cut up and his arm was in a sling. It's like everyone was thinking, "Well, Ben is a sh-itty person. I assume he gets into physical altercations on a regular basis." He's great character though. I like how he says everyone's names really condescendingly at the end of every sentence when he's talking to them. Micheal Emerson got a Golden Globe nomination, too!
