I've done some internet research and apparently one of the clues is in Hurley's hand... he torch that is a burning ankh. The others are still unconfirmed. Some people say the hieroglyphics in the clouds are clues; someone else said they were just the symbols seen in the hatch when the counter reached 108 minutes.

I buy into the theory that Jacob and the other guy are two warring Egyptian/or some kind of other gods. But I think that season 6 is going to reveal something or someone with higher power than both of them. The show has been escalating from Losties vs. wilderness, to Losties vs. Others, to Ben vs. Widmore, to Jacob v. ?; and I think it's going to take the next step this next season. I don't have any reason for that. It's just I like coming up with crazy theories
I don't think the island cares about Ben, Sun, or Frank since they ended up on Hydra Island instead of the main island.
i was just thinking about this, but maybe they were put on the the other island for a whole purpose of there own. maybe like the island need jin and sun to stay apart for the time to make sure certain things happen to a certain way

i heard somewhere that season 6 isn't going to have any flashbacks, flashforwards, or alternate timelines. just 45 minutes of straightforward storytelling for every episode. has anyone else heard this or am i delusional?

From my understanding, in the first episode of season 6, the plane is going to land at LAX... so I would guess an alternate reality is a strong possibility. But methinks it won't last long.

It was the one right before the finale, when Sun asks him if he was there 30 years ago. I don't understand how they can do a alternate reality and then go back to the other reality. Like I said my head hurts.

If there is a sideflash wouldn't mean that would be just as true as what was going on in the original reality. Also I think I accidentally read something that was really, really, really, really bad. I hope he was joking or it was just a theory. And I was doing so well avoiding spoilers

i've heard pretty much every spoiler, send me a pm and i can enlighten you if i can. I've heard TONS of spoilers, but honestly still nothing that makes me know exactly what is going on, just that EVERYONE is EVERYWHERE doing EVERYTHING they have done before in a different way.

Of course Locke is dead. The Locke that killed Jacob on the beach was the Man on the Beach/"Esau". Esau apparently has the ability to posses dead bodies that are on the island. Which explains why Christian has been seen on the island multiple times. (Theory Coming) Esau uses those bodies to manipulate the humans into doing what he wants, so he can eventually find the loophole they were talking about to kill Jacob. Remember in the temple when Ben went to get judged? Both when the smoke monster and Alex were judging Ben, Locke inexplicably disappeared. Where could he possibly have gone to that he missed all that? I think that Esau/Christian/Fake Locke/Smoke Monster are one in the same. I know that's nothing new, and I may have said this like 6 months ago, but that's my theory.
^^good theory. I do believe Esau takes on the form of the dead. I am not too sure he is the smoke monster though. And I do not automatically assume he is the bad guy. I lean more toward Jacob for that.
I see Jacob as the Devil. Luring people onto his Island so that he can play and manipulate them for his on pleasure. Esau would be God. Trying to stop the Devil. Or they could merely be the tools of the deities.

No I think that's a good idea. I just re-watched the finale last week with my friends, and I kinda brought that up. Lost originally vilified Ben, but then they later revealed he was doing what he was doing for the island. Then they made Widmore into the bad guy. But then in this season he was kinda humanized, and it was shown maybe he wasn't the bad guy in all of this. I think that you may be right.
And I think you hinted at there may be two bigger warring characters. And I think I agree with that kinda based on my last paragraph. Lost is always going bigger, but they are also starting to run out of time. Good ideas!
Thats the main theory thats been going around for a while. The only thing that's weird is Locke's body is there on the beach and Christians and Yemi's appear to be stolen.
