^^Maybe, Druid. I think it's significant that each of the Numbers correspond to a character: 4 - Locke (which FLocke crossed out) 8- Hurley 15 - Sawyer 16 - Sayid 23 - Jack 42 - Kwon
Five of those 6 people were the Oceanic Six. I think it's also significant in some way that Kate is 51 on the dial.... not sure how just yet.
That LOST redux said: "The white building Jack saw in the mirrors at the lighthouse appears to be the church where Jacob met up with Sawyer at Sawyer's father's funeral." But Jack says that its the house he grew up in, and we even saw it when he went to his parent's house to find his father's will. So they were off on that one, but I guess the rest of it seemed about right.

Maybe Jacob was watching Christian. I know this is pretty crazy, but Christian lead Vincent to Jack kinda, which doesn't seem like something the MiB would do. Maybe there are two different Christian manifestations. The Christian that's evil, told Locke to turn the wheel, and the good Christian(Jacob) that is also a candidate, 23-Shephard. I don't necessarily believe that, but I'm just throwing crazy shit out there just in case.
Well, there has been a theory kicking around for a long time that there are two versions of christian- it has to do with the two different outfits we see him in throughout the seasons.

What are these outfits? His suit and his doctor attire?
Christian later appears suddenly outside of Sawyer, Miles, and Claire's camp, holding Aaron. Claire awakened to see him, recognizing him. This was the first time that Christian was seen on the Island without his blue suit—instead, he appeared to be wearing a dress shirt. Claire walked away with him at some point in the night, and Aaron was later found, crying but unharmed, at the base of a tree. Miles seems to have seen Christian as well, as he told Sawyer (who was asleep at the time) that Claire walked with someone she called "Dad." ("Something Nice Back Home")

i agree!!! i thought it was very action packed, but nothing really happened. haha. kind of an oxymoron.
sayid is scary now!
i also really feel like it is panning out to be the devil b/c he talks like the devil did in the bible, tempting and offering things. plus the whole evil bit.
i think claire is going to kill kate. i guess i obviously know it is b/c she is infected, but i think real claire would be thankful since she just dissapeared and kate was trying to be responsible.

Jacob also made promises to get people to do what he wanted, although his promises are not as good. The thing that is bothering me most about this season is they do seem to be presenting a whole Jacob/Flocke good vs. evil thing, but the idea of what constitutes good they are presenting is just ridiculous. If Sayid blindly follows the order of a guy he just freaking met and kills another, he will then be good? WTF kind of crapass moral code is that? And Jacob is just all manipulation and control over others. I just cannot buy this total crock version of Good they seem to be presenting. It's completely nonsensical.
But not as nonsensical, or hilarious, as Miles calling Crazy Claire "still hot."

I'm not sure it's as simple as good vs. evil. Like vicious said both Dogan and Jacob are clearly not what I would consider two good guys. If MiB wasn't such a bastid, then I wouldn't think that Jacob was the good guy.
I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. Not as good as the Jack or Locke episodes to me. I wasn't as emotionally involved in the alt this time, but it could be because I have other stuff on my mind.
My initial thought is that was not a very satisfying episode. Though I was happy to see Sayid bust a cap into Keamey.
I'm a bit sad to see Dogen go. I wanted to know more about him.
I was happy for this episode because I think this might be the last Sayid centric episode we will get to see. I hate that his life is sad on and off the Island though.
I'm nervous that the writers may end up killing Sayid in the end. It's been pretty obvious from the beginning of the series that Jack is the main man; everyone else has been there in a supporting capacity to make sure Jack does what he's supposed to do (whatever that may be). I feel that Sayid may use his "killer" instincts to get rid of people that stand in Jack's way... and in turn be killed.
Sayid's story has almost always been sad, except for those few months he had with Nadia when he first got back from the island. He's a tragic character, and that never bodes well for the people we hope will live until the end.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAYID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost cried, I'm so sad for him. I just watched last's week's episode along with the new one tonight.
SO from last week's episode- ~Richard came to the island on the black rock!? He was chained up on the boat!? I figure that at least
~Kate has no idea what side she is about to go with and she is with Claire who looked like she wanted to rip her apart when she told her she had Aaron
Tonight's Episode- ~I was so happy to see that in Ben chose to stay with Ilana and he chose to help Alex instead of gaining power in his sideways life!
~Where is Jin!?
~ So Widmore is back to the island...what do you guys think will happen with him??
I was glad we got round-about answers last night from Alpert. I hope Farraday is on the sub with Widmore/dad.
And I'm ready for Sun and Jin to find each other, for crying out loud. Their constant pining for each other is annoying. If I hear Sun say "I need to find my husband" one more time, I'm gonna.... well, do something, I dunno what, but it'll be semi-violent.

I'm over Jin and Sun and have been for quite some time. I'm sure one of them will play an important role and the other will die. Alpert has always been my favorite character and I almost shed a tear last night when Jack first agreed to kill him. They def confirmed Jack's importance last night. My only real question is why does the island need protection? It doesn't appear that Widmore wants to exploit it as Ben had previously said. Speaking of Ben, damn it. He's turned into a total puss. But Emerson's acting was amazing. I think sometimes I get caught up in the story/intrigue and I miss some of the amazing performances.
I watched the previous episode before this week's with the notes at the bottom. That really helps me a lot and the episode reminded me how much of a badass Sayid is.

I thought it was cool that Jack got his faith in the island back. He had kind of lost faith, but showed his faith was back when he knew the island wouldn't kill him.
Also, whoever Jacob touched apparently can't die. If that's true, Hurley, Jack, Sun and Jin, Kate, and Swayer are safe. (But Locke and Sayid died, and Jacob touched them, so who knows.)

ahhh, but alpert had said that he couldnt kill himself, but jack could. maybe they have to be killed by someone else or maybe just another person who has been touched by jacob?
Now I wonder who technically killed Sayid: Roger Linus (the guy that shot him), or the people in the temple that drowned him in the pool. I suppose it would be the people that drowned him.
