Meet my first pet, Tarcin (means "cinnamon" in Turkish), reading one of his favorite books! We adopted him from an animal hospital few days ago - he's only two months old and very active. He is the reason I've been so emotional and happy lately.

I never thought I'd be a pet guy. I travel too much for a dog, I'm too selfish, I've always not really cared for cats. Then I met my wife, who came with a cat. The dumbest, clutziest cat that you'd ever meet. As my wife went to law school in Philly and lived there for 8 years, and her cat was the runt of a litter of 3, the cat was named Sweet Dee, but we just call her Dee.
And I thought I'd always just tolerate the cat. I love my wife, she came with a cat, that was that. The cat moved in two years ago this past weekend, and I've been thinking about how far we have come in our relationship. She used to yell at me day or night and run to Suzanne when she got home. Now, we're pretty good buddies, and it's fun to lay on the couch and have Dee come and cuddle with me. She hates closed doors, loves to make noise, and new thing - my wife got me a laser pointer and that little red dot drives the cat nuts and it's so much fun to see her chase it around the kitchen.
Anyway...yeah, I guess I like a cat now. Don't tell anyone.
One of my favorite finds on reddit is /r/slammywhammies definitely worth checking out, so many cute dogs on there. Also /r/tippytaps is a great one too

We bought a sweater for Yoko because she gets chattery teeth sometimes. It was so cute on her. She hated it so much that she had gross poops for a day and a half.

I love Boston's and clothes on puppies! Maya doesn't wear clothing, but Tyger does and loves it. This is so cute.

How's this for pitiful? She's fine. We took her to the vet, and I talked to my friend who is an optometrist. We think she hit her face on the buffet as we were taking her out the other night. She's blind from her cataracts so walking into furniture is kind of her thing. It actually looks a little better now, and my friend said the blood might go away completely or might not, but it won't hurt anything.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
One of my ex-wife’s young co-workers fell victim to a stroke and brain bleed a couple days ago. Once she acquired Saoirse and showed him some pictures, he finally decided it was time to get a new boxer too. He lost his a few months after we lost Chelsea, and it took a couple years for him to open up again. Tux is a 4 month old male black and white boxer, and K decided to take him in for as long as is necessary. Should her co-worker make it, we will care for and love Tux until he is able to care for him again. If not, we will keep him forever. He’s really small in comparison to Saiorse, so I hope she doesn’t decide to be a queen bitch to him. They’ll work it out and pack up I’m sure. I’ll get a photo soon of that rascal.
