they'll be ok. they've had problems scoring points the last two years and still made it to the final four. just wait and see if their defense can slow down unc.

i think unc is all around a solid team this year. they play THEIR game, and don't play down to their opponents. they trounce the teams they're supposed to, and they're consistent.
ucla-unc should make for a great finals game, though.

keep in mind the louisville just beat the team with the best rpi rating in the nation and who ranked #2 for most of the season and #1 for a week by 19 points last night. if unc is going to make it to the final four, much less the final game, they are going to have to hang on to the ball and find holes in louisville's 12 man zone defense. don't think the cards are going to get trounced by any means...yes, I am biased. yes, I am concerned about the unc home court advantage...but the same cards fans that were there last night will be there tomorrow, minus the unc fans who cheered on the 'ville thinking they'd somehow have any easier time with them...
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."
So here's my deal with UCLA: they are considered a defensive team, but their roster is best suited for a more offensive approach. It's the UCLA first team in a few years whose makeup in no way reflects the coach's approach to the game. I'm not saying they can't play defense when they focus on it. But I think they can't do it without severely hurting their offense.
If Howland let Collison loose, I think the offense would run a lot smoother, and the team would win more. But then, I think Howland's devotion to a slow tempo half court defensive minded approach to the game is his strength and weakness, akin to Coach K's insistence over the years on using a 6 man rotation.
yeah. ucla will be ok. just gotta win and move on. it will be interesting with them against unc in the final if it happens. i hopes davidson beats the kansas if they win to make up for my picking georgetown. i still cant believe they lost.

^ahh no davidson is killin em'
there was a kid on espn yesterday, one of only two people to have a perfect bracket on ESPN.com. (out of like a lot, cant remember how many they said. 100's of thousands)
He was 13 years old, doesnt have cable. And used newspapers to fill out his bracket.
We're floored, guys. I have no idea how we got here, but we're savoring the moment. Go Nova! I know it's improbable, but it's what we're thinking. This is just insane.
Since I'm only 4 hours from Davidson, decided I'm going to drive down to watch the game tomorrow. Lots closer than Detroit and no ticket required! Plus, win or lose, that place will be nuts. Kansas won't go down easy, if at all. My brain knows it just won't happen, but my heart tells me to just keep the faith. You just never know.

If you went with conventional thinking Davidson should have been out a long time ago. I think they could pull it off. I'll be rootin' for 'em.

Memphis looks so atheletic and solid. Bench, Length, Shooting, Defesne. The only thing they lack is the free throw %. I think last night they were upwards of 70 percent?
I had wisconsin vs. Ucla final
But I'm Thinking Memphis Vs. Ucla, North Carolina vs. Kansas(i really want to say davidson so bad!)
really off subject.
But I love college Baseball. And the ACC is pretty stacked this year.
