4 Gov't Mule shows and 3 Allman Bros shows in just over three months. ;D ;D ;D Warren is going to get tired of looking at me. Oh yeah probably 2 DTB and 2 Soul Stew Revival in the same time span.
i think im going to this festival know i asked my work for the time off and just waiting for the ok.. cant wait really going solo unless my ex from fsu plans on going...
Well I've either got great news or terrible news .... I don't know yet. I may have to work the weekend of Wanee, but if I don't have to work I have a connection to get a free ticket to the festival. I just have to get off of work now, which is looking not so good.

The Allman Brothers Band has cancelled their upcoming performance at the Wanee Festival and postponed their annual run of shows at New York’s Beacon Theater. Gregg Allman was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C and has been receiving treatments for the virus for the past six months. Though the treatments have been successful so far, and the virus has been eradicated from his system, his recovery from the side effects of the treatment is taking longer than originally projected.
"I'm getting better but I'm still tired," Allman said in a statement. "I need to be at 110% to do the shows the way we do them. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support and understanding my Brothers and our fans have given me."
The Wanee Festival will take place as planned, with Gov't Mule, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi's Soul Stew Revival, moe. and Levon Helm still scheduled to appear. As of press time, the Allman Brothers Band still plans to hit the road in August and will likely play the Beacon this fall. There is currently no word on the group’s scheduled appearance at Bonnaroo.
This is bad news. I hope Greg is doing alright. I wonder what that means for Wanee. Probably more Gov't Mule which is good. I wonder if they can get another headliner worthy performer at this late of a date. What's Phil and Friends doing that weekend?
i dont see phil being added with bob weir already playing.. I really dont think we will get another band but if we do i say some That 1 Guy and some railroad earth and im cool.. i dont need a huge name just a filler
If not Phil Lesh and Friends, then maybe Mickey Hart Band? I mean George Porter Jr. will already be there with Porter-Batiste-Stolz. I would be awesome to get Steve Kimock and Mickey Hart to Wanee.
