- Make my campsite (pull behind camper) as comfortable/badass as I can - Get out during the early part of the day (before 3-4 pm) - Take power naps in centeroo - Paint my body green for late night

Yeah, I am definitely going to be moving from my camp site to some shade around 8 or 9 in the morning. That sun is killer and waking up in centeroo to some music in the afternoon is nice.
2 things: 1. I'm going to bring an old sheet and put it down on the ground under our canopy, table, chairs, whatever else. And use it as a floor. That way I can go barefoot, and if it gets too hot in the morning, I don't have to drag a blanket out of the tent to lay on. 2. All of my "household" items (paper towels, plates, silverware, hand wipes, grilling utensils, etc.) I am going to put in a clear plastic container and keep it under the table. Last year I had it all in canvas type bags. The plastic bin idea just seems more organized and easier to get to.

I will definitely take it easy on Thursday this year and see the sun come up on Saturday It may be my OCD, but I've never been unprepared for anything in my life!
Like so many of you, I need to ride the ferris wheel and pop into the cinema tent for a nap some time this year. I would also like to watch a couple full shows this year rather than just running from stage to stage. And I'd like to find Shakedown Street, or at least spend more time wandering the campgrounds.

Wolfaroo- I'm with you on all of those. We went in the back entrance (I think) all weekend long, and I didn't find Shakedown once! I'd also like to meet more people too.
chris major i have read some of your post previously and man you like your corn hehehe but really who doesnt...... Im a trying to get more involved.....brunch....duckies in the fountain......pink flemingos.....glow sticks.....etc i also want to find shakedown and then possi. have that lead me to the meaning of life ;-) i did so much during the day last year, my first year i feel like i missed so much fun at night so i am planning to take it easy during the day so i can jam at night
What do people mean by "the real shakedown"? I feel like I'm missing an integral part of 'Roo culture!!
1) I will DEFINITELY set up a flag so you can find my campsite no matter my frame of mind
2) make sure I remember the name of the "street" where I'm camping. We got there late Friday and didn't pay any attention to our location and I got crazy lost
3) Check out more than just music (if possible) - including the ferris wheel.
4) Drink less beer, drink more liquor. Personally, I get way more hungover when I drink brewskies, and Saturday was not fun dealing with a beer hangover
5) MORE time in the Silent Disco during down times...that leno is off the quacking chain--DO NOT MISS IT!
6) Take a nap in the cinema tent. I needs the ac!!

I will NOT try to go hard on sunday again, found myself on my back for half the night and wishing I was anywhere but the single place I long for all year.
Oh and spend a lot more time in the pit, that's a good one.
