...Led Zep at Roo 08? will there be endless rumors from unnamed insiders claiming to have seen Phish on the roster for Bonnaroo 09, only to find out that Superfly booked former Marillion singer Fish to play the farm?

I think Zep at 09 will be the new Zep at 08...I think a lot of people wanted to believe it so badly that now they're all thinking "okay well maybe they meant next year!"

Part of me feels the Zep ship has sailed. As we get closer, I bet we will start hearing more 'rumors' and speculation...but the build up last year was insane and then the baloon was popped. I bet Superfly is probably gonna run the other direction so as not to drag this LedZep/LezZep Yes/No/maybe stuff out any further.
I think superfly is goona try and return a little bit back to their roots, maybe a dmb, trey, allman bros, Gov't mule as a foundation and then toss in some arcade fire. At some point you can't keep getting bigger acts than the year before, and with the way the economy is, I don;t see Superfly wanting to shell out the money it would take to lock in perhaps the biggest band ever. (not to mention logistics)

Uh, wtf are you talking about. this gets the run around every year. i've been to roo every year since '03 with a HUGE phishhead, i'm talkin he brings the phish almanac just for campsite reading. and he is always talking about what phish members are confirmed at roo and who is gonna show up unannounced and they all play.
get over it.
if phish plays we will know well before hand. that is how huge it would be there are too many people who would be able to find out about it for it to stay secret for too long.
Phish wont be at bonnaroo 09 nor will they ever be at the roo. I say some of them will be there but not as a band together, they have their own fests for that. After this past year at bonnaroo i bet even if phish was down to play the roo they probably still wouldnt book them. Or they would book them and make them stop playing after 2 hrs or soo so LIL Wayne could play

So within days of each other we have confirmation from one band that they are NOT touring next year, and confirmation from the other that they ARE. Very interesting.
