Just wondering, how many of you are flying and how many are driving in? I think for those of you that are driving and coming in wed should maybe do some kind of Wal-Mart meetup and go in together. I am just thinking how crazy it will be this year to fight off spots.
I think if a group of people come in together will help out with reserving our space and we could use the help setting up the canopies. I will touch on this more as we get closer to roo, but I figure I would throw this out there now.
I'll be driving in and right now I'm looking at a late thursday afternoon arrival. If there is still room near the officail CIR that would be AWESOME! But maybe I can work out an earlier arrival. When do they open things up?

Should I be worried if I put my name up like 4 days ago and havent been added to "the list" yet? Dont mean to be annoying but I'd like to know if im golden or not. Thanks so much.
The past week has been a bit brutal for me @ work, so I get a littlelazy updating stuff. Like Leo said, the list is just to see how many people are interested. I just added you to the list.

Sweet! This is starting to look like 06 again with Tara, Crazykittensmile, Leo, and myself camping together. Now if we can con Jason, Jen, and Kampy to come back
Looks like Jason is a go, when I saw Jen recently I talked to her about it, but I think she's wavering depending on what her job situation works out to be (she's finishing school now), I think she's a possibility... has Kampy not gone since 06??
Ok, I swear I'm going to stop hogging this thread after this post... but I wanted to say I bought my shuttle ticket and am going to be taking it into roo Thursday morning. My flight lands at 9 am, so hopefully I'll be able to get on the first or second bus to leave. I'd like to come Wednesday but I'd rather save the extra day off of work for post-roo sleep Tuesdsay, so I'll be flying down at the ass-crack (5 am flight) Thursday morning
so ive got like 4-5 different groups of friends that are all going and they all want me to set up camp with them. so i think to make it easier on everyone i might just come to camp inforoo. new experience and new people. im like 65% sure this is what ill do.

i believe that i will be making it to CIR this year. I should be bringing at least on sunshade, possibly two. I also have a nice 5 day cooler and a table.
I am asking kinda early, but Wal-Mart was bloody packed last year so how would we meet up? Either way, I will be at Roo early Thursday morning.
We generally decide on an area of Tent Only ahead of time and also set up some kind of phone tree in case we have to use a different spot or people get lost. As we get closer one of us will start getting together a list of approx. when people think they'll show up and collect phone #'s to set up a tree of who to call. Being on the phone list is of course optional.
I'm a newbie to Inforoo so most of you guys haven't seen any of my posts yet. 2009 will be my first 'Roo and I am driving down from New Hampshire with four (maybe six) other 'Roo first-timers...BUT I was wondering if all you kind roosters would be willing to mingle with me and my group of Bonnaroo first-timers?
I love it here on Inforoo and I know that meeting and interacting with all you veterans can only make my first 'Roo so much better.

Well that makes sense. I prefer to show up early, so if anything i'd be help in reserving spots. Perhaps make a large circle with our tents and try to keep the area in between reserved.
I'm 90% sure I'll be with ya. I have a table to contribute plus use of a shower tent w/toilet, two burner stove and more. My hobby these days is buying things for roo so probably alot more by then. Let me know if there is a need for something. Can't wait too meet you all!!

hey guys! staying in camp inforoo is dependent on whether i go solo, but that's looking increasingly likely. don't put me down just yet, but either way i'm looking forward to meeting you all.

So I'm driving there, leaving SD on the Saturday or Sunday before, so I think I should be there by Wednesday. I'm definitely down for the Wal Mart meet up, and I can't wait to share my first roo with all of you people <3

which camp will ya'll be? personally I think camp mcfly will be best as I 90% sure I'm going in an rv? Does anybody know how to secure a spot in camp mcfly? thanks

Any of you cool inforooer's got space for a single female, early thirties? I've got a ticket (wooo!) but none of my lame ass friends can buy this year, but I couldn't miss it! This will be #3 for me.
Hell yeah, Tina... you should definitely do Camp Inforoo. Lots of solo Rooers, plenty of us in our 30's and the much anticipated Infoo brunch on Friday morning. I think you'll have a blast

Hey everyone, I was just tellin my friend that I am gonna be going to Bonnaroo for the first time. To which he responded with this link to this page. After reading about what the whole Camp Inforoo thing is about, I think this is probably my best option for getting a good spot with good people. So if it wouldn't be any trouble, I'd like to get added to the list of folks who are planning to be part of this group. I am going alone, so you would only have to plan on one more person. Let me know if this is alright with whoever is organizing this little commune. Countin down the days, can't wait to get there! See you all in a few months.
I think Me + 5will camp at InfoRoo camp with u guy if u will have us and we also have a sunshades we are taking with us this u see 3 of my group are volunteers so this is a way for all of us to camp together Thanks for letting us in corncat for life

Just the normal camping gear should do... and some sort of sunshade of course! And don't worry about hauling your gear... there are the taxis to help us bring our gear over, and we'll set up a phone tree as well... so we'll be helping each other out too
This is a call of arms to live and love and sleep together.
