i'll probably be in GA cuz i'm coming with a group, but i'll definitely stop by and say hello and we probably will be hangin' out at the Wal-Mart again this year drinkin' beers and talking to whoever comes by...can't wait to see all you inforooer's there! you are all welcome to stop by
im still contenplating going to roo', my brother bailed on me and i have already bought my ticket. This will be my first roo' and if i do decided not to sell my ticket this seems like a nice place for a first time rooer/solorooer. It might be worth driving from chicago (9 hrs) to mancester tn. if i have a spot here and feel welcome. yes?
It looks like I will be solo in Tent Only, so if there's room I would be honored to camp with you guys..if not I will certainly stop by and say hello and I will be attending the Brunch on Friday morning.

Hey everyone!! I have been having problems accessing my account, but after a million and 2 times of trying here I am. I would love to be added to camp inforoo. I am flying in from Korea to attend my 3rd roo and going solo for the first time.

Totally off-topic, but you're from Korea? My older brother lives there - he was in Hanam-si for a year, but now he's living in Seoul proper.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah, we are about 45 minutes outside Seoul but have lived all over the country. My company seems to enjoy relocating me just as I am getting settled in.
We're 2 Roo'bs (at right now at about 85% tent-only) . . . sounds like the grooviest gathering place. Put us on the CIR list and if we end up in car-camp, we'll probably be regular squatters.

ha! i came to post in this thread to request that my name be added, but my name was already on the list. i posted in this thread awhile back and forgot about it.
sup fellow camp inforooers. i can't believe it's only one month away. 5-6 months ago it seemed like roo would never come, but i've been really busy the past few months, and now roo's almost here and now i realize i've got a lot of shit to do! nothing too crazy, but i'll definitely be hitting up ebay over the next week.
ME +2 are planning on joining camp inforoo... however if we are parked close to centeroo, we might just stay with the rest of our group (8 total) and just swing by inforoo to introduce ourselves/chill.
Myself and one other may be joining the Roocamp, not sure yet. It really depends on whether or not we get stuck out in BFE and if Mofrohead and I can manage to hook up outside the gates. My friend and I are total Roobs though, so will most likely stop by if not stay in the camp. WOOO LESS THAN A MONTH

I am so excited about camping in ci! The only thing I worry about is having to haul a butt load of stuff by myself..... plus learning to set up a tent and canopy( never done it by myself before and when i have i was just told what to do lol) I cant believe its only 25 days away definitely seems like it should be further away then that!
Hey Jay, Leo, Crazykitten, et al... Glad to see you guys are keeping the camp going. I was a camp inforooer back in '06 and met some really cool folks there. I can still remember wondering around the tent area looking for Leo's baby flag. I was a little nervous about attending the festival by myself, but the inforoo gang made it all better. I'm not the most outgoing person in the world, but common desire to have fun and hear great music was all it took to fit in. I remember meeting up at the camp and heading out in small groups to see whatever bands we were into...then meeting again at the end of the night to share stories and talk about the shows. Well, I'm back for my second Roo and flying solo again. It would be great to camp and party with you all. Please ad me to the list. I have an EZ Up this year and will certainly bring some sort of treat for the Inforoo Brunch. Maybe I'll bake a batch of my "special" brownies! Only 4 more weeks -- WOOHOO!!!!!!

'06 was my first Roo and I luckily camped with Camp Inforoo. '07 I stopped by a few times. '08 missed Roo, was in Europe. So this year I'll be back with Camp Inforoo. Plan to bring my sketch book again. It will be great to see some folks from '06/'07 again and new faces.
hi, just wanted to jump into the conversation and say this:
i was out with friends this weekend and two of them were telling the tale of roo 07 i think, and i mentioned over preparing by reading everything i can find on inforoo. she says that they ended up camping right near you guys (in tent only, camp inforoo) and that you were all very cool. neat coincidence!
their names were debbie and matt, and had a very interesting "getting into roo" story: they flew in from fl and decided to walk into roo, went to the vip entrance and couldn't go in that way, then met up w/some people and took a cab/rv/cab, and then still hiked 2mi to get to their campsite, which was right by you guys.
I just hope if I run into any of you guys, it's one of the nice ones. I didn't notice the camp last year, but I'll look for it this time. I think I might be scared to meet some Inforooer's in real life, though.

Why? Im sure everyone staying at Camp Inforoo will be nice, I doubt many people are really like their internet persona in real life.
