I'm thinking about stopping by on Thursday night "when the music's over" (little Doors pun there) if I can find my way there or walk well enough to find my way.
Would love to know this also so I can get off work early if needed on wed?
Are we meeting wed night at wally world or at tent only?
And if tent only- don't they wait till some time thurs morning to open that up??
Well, I was suggesting that some of you meet up together just because it would be easier to save the space needed if we have a group come in. I will be there Thursday and going in by foot, so getting a spot will be easy.

This is what I was thinking. I know if we arrive TOO early we WONT be able to head off to Tent only until atleast 8AM. Last year we got in at like 3 got rounded to BFE Pod 1 and tried to go walking around at about 6 and they wouldnt let us, there was a line of people with their gear waiting to walk to tent only.
SO, I say a group of us meet up at Wal-Mart and head on out in a line of cars and try our best to stick in the same line as each other.
If anything we could get in early at 3, cause traffic is usually pretty low at this time, and just get ready to walk off at 8 or so.
They let you just walk on in? Where do you park your car?
^^^Thats what I was thinking.Start trading numbers and have a meeting place and go in together. There will be some of us in there, but the earlier, the better on Thursday. BTW...I will send out my cell phone # to those of you camping next week since I will be one of the firsts in.
My friends and I (me, jwkeene on here and another guy) are down for tent only, seems like the best idea this year.
We will be at Walmart all day Wednesday and will be ready to head in and would be down for helping out with trying to grab some space early. We have a 11'x9' tent, a 10'x10' ez-up, a 10'x20' tarp and some other stuff.

Definately interested in doing camping only, just wondering where I would park. I'm not sure if I feel cool with just leaving my car wherever on the camping grounds. Do you guys usually park at Walmart and walk or just get a spot like you normally would then walk from there? Once I figure this out, I'll be able to figure out what I'm going to do. Just seems kinda risky to me but then again I don't really know any details lol

People driving to Roo will be parking in the campgrounds, as though they were car camping, then hauling their gear to Camp Inforoo. The people who are talking about walking in are coming by other means like buses or flying.
I'll be at Wally World wednesday night, I think going in together is a good idea and I'd def be down for it. I have a recently aquired 8x8 popup canopy to help the cause
It's been a while since I took the bus (like 3 years)... does anyone know how frequent they are? I land at 9:15 AM so I'm not really sure what time to expect to be on the farm...

I'll most likely be on this shuttle as well. My plane gets in a little before 9 a.m but I probably will have to wait for the 10 a.m shuttle. If there are going to be a few camp inforooers on this shuttle it would def. be cool to meet at the airport.

I plan on waking up Thursday morning somewhere in the Great Smokey Mts. NP, then hauling ass to Manchester...hope to be sitting in line by 10:00 am and parked by noon. Is there going to be a flag of sorts, or are we relying on cell phone tree?
hey, i got a question. if i am going to be parking in the rv area can i also set up a little camp at tent only? it would be nice to have a little station i can go to just outside of centeroo if me or friends need more water or toilet paper or somethign like that without walking so far.

you could put me down for the walmart meet up on wednesday night.... i can prolly be there by like 2am on thursday morning so if we do leave at 3 that would work well! I also think ill just sleep in my car so yall could just call me when its 8am..... I think that works well!

I will be getting into nashville at around 9 oclock with one other person, we will probably also catch the 10 oclock shuttle unless we get off and out very quickly. there will be 2 other people meeting up with us in ci, we will have some tarps and poles and possibly an ez-up or other shade aparatus.
How big are the shuttles? is it a bus or a van? do they usually fill up, leaving people to wait for the next?
