I've finished my poster too. Just finalizing the lineup on it and deciding whether I want a 3 or 4 day fest. I'm still well under 200 artists though so I guess it doesn't matter.

I just wanted to pop in here and let you guys know how excited I am to see what you've all come up with I think this is such a super idea and a really good time waster in waiting for the 'Roo. Anyway, yeah, yay!

It has come to my attention that there will be a special prize awarded to the winner. Feel free to speculate amongst yourselves to what it may be, but I cannot confirm until after the contest is over and the winner is announced.
lets hope its the financing to put these festivals on. haha. either way, i'm just praying to make it to the second round. this has been so much fun! just fine tunning the schedule right now.

yeah i'm really stoked to see everyone else's. anyone have any surrpise bands for the schedule should they make it to te second round? as of now i don't. is that even allowed?

so when can us not participating look at these fests... there should be a general public vote to determine the winner...you could use the pole threads to figure out the votes

Yeah, the posters are due in by saturday, and I'll probably have to take a couple of days to look thru them and see that they're all legit (no more than five reunions, no excessive headliners), and then I'll pick randomly and post the posters up (hopefully we'll have a subforum).

one thing i was gonna ask, what are we labelling as excesive headliners? cause, i have two main stages in my event, which means 2 headliners per night playing opposite times, just like lollapalooza, is that two much for a 4 day event? excessive? i could cut it down, but, just wondering the opinions on that?

You can take my spot if that's cool, arizonalovesyou. For various reasons, I dont think I'll be ready with a poster in time & would feel more comfortable just putting my lineup up later (outside of the competition).

Because of the new people, the date to get your posters in is now Sunday. Sorry to people who want to get this started.
I will be away from the computer for most likely the rest of the day (my sister is coming in from LA) so if you guys have any more questions I'll answer them first thing tomorrow morning.
Yeah an extra day is really going to help. This past week has been incredibly busy one for me, so I havent even started on my poster yet, and I havent exactly finalized my lineup yet
